Why did the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) vehemently deny the failed coup in the first instance.

Does it think its "funky" to lie whilst calling it managing information when Nigerian will still know the truth ?

A fat and Obese TV presenter who doubles as a Director in TVC talked- down on a co-panelist on Sunday Journalist Hangout when he highlighted that Nigerians would dis -believe Government when it makes future announcements.

At this point, Government will put itself in more trouble if it doesn't come-out openly to announce that there was indeed a foiled coup with names.

Why is it so hard to come out categorically and confirm there'd been a coup attempt if it really happened. Shaky shaky daddies, there's no fake scenario APC cannot construct in this grab and hold on to power by all means quest. From Fake bishops, fake fuel production, fake everything etc undecided

There would be no turmoil. It would only be amongst them. There would have been massive celebrations I tell you. How many people did you hear are condemning the coup? Hmnn when there is mass economic suffering and mass killings at will then every body will definitely want a change of government to occur. Do you know the number of killings, kidnappings and hunger in the land? It's very bad. So you can of course thank God there was no tension but I can assure you it would only be within them up there.

The coup would have been the end of Nigeria. Killing Asiwaju and top hierarchy of his administration would be the end of Nigeria. The hausa/Fulanis are still nursing grudges for the killing of Balewa and other northerners since 1966 and these guys want to add petrol to fire again? People from the south won't welcome coup plotters in 2025 except the tribe that always wish evil on Nigeria.

That's how the civil War started when the igbo officers decided to kill every other tribes in government especially the northern leaders and thereafter an igbo officer was nominated as the country's dictator leader.....almost the same thing would have happened if they had succeeded with this coup.......this would have been a very fast way for every region to go their separate ways as a country finally......would have been very distrastous and bloody.....would have set nigeria 20years backward.....imagine cutting the legs of a country that is crawling before.

Did you hear what the military said about this matter? They said is just a routine military exercise aimed at making sure there personnel didn't go out of there way. The military never called this a coup ...yet we are here running our mouth as if a civilian government can stop any military coup...I want to breve what the military said rather than speculating on something we don't know the details

At least our Ibo brothers were not among the allege plotters, not look critically that there were blend of NC and NW in the list.

Suffice to say that the unending infiltration of bandits and herdmen in NC is as a result of internal collaboration with the external killers.

The NC have been so brainwashed that it will take a miracle to free them from the North grip

How do they now want other Nigerians to support them for the president position,the role played by the likes of Bukola Saraki, Adamu Abdullah remains a pointer that it will be a very risky attempt to back them.
