Wonderful family,
I'm looking to get a very fuel efficient car for daily movement to work. Not necessarily with space or speed, but should be durable for daily 60km, at least three times a week.

From research, the following were the most recommended but I need to pick the most fuel efficient while durable.
1. Nissan micra
2. Toyota yaris
3. Hyundai i20
4. Suzuki s-presso

Your advice would be appreciated.

Thank you for the suggestion. Is there any specific year or engine size to look out for?

Don’t buy those car they are lemon. During the fuel subsidy removal. All these car flooded the market and on the road. But today they have all disappeared. Any car you no longer see like that on the road. Just avoid them. It happens for a reason .

If you can’t afford fuel. It means you are not yet ready to own a car

Get the Micra, I would recommend the manual anyway.

If you are getting the Yaris, make sure you get the one with 1.3litre engine.

Yaris car with engine size between 1.3litres - 1.6litres. Also if you can get Nigeria used Corolla 1.6ltrs engine is better too. Pls notes that the car prescribe is Toyota and should manual transmission. Reasons is the parts can be easily get around.
