Please what is the difference between the compromise and full duty and also how will it affect me if i want to buy the car and sell? And secondly, between buying from abroad and shipping it to nigeria port, clear it then sell it and buying it from cotonou which one is cheaper? Thanks |

Jafsent30:the difference between the both is that compromise is like underpayment while full duty is full But note the real full duty is the compromise from Abuja but the customs use the compromise as an avenue to make money to themselves pocket while business with the Agent/importers It's secure buying from the USA, Canada than to buy from the Cotonou cus Cotonou mainly smuggle deal, bcus the FG didn't approve the importation and clearing of cars from Cotonou |

Do you have contact of car dealers that can import from USA? Any idea what a clean title tokumbo Lexus ES 350 (2009-2011) might cost buying in USA and shipping to lagos? And if i want to buy from Lagos car dealers instead of importing, any idea how much i should look at?
