Nevertheless, i prefer watching football with other folks to see their views/opinions/mild arguments, but it's in the bar now, indoor football view is quite boring. That said, watching it in a crowded place like this, especially during Uni days, was fun. The Chelsea/Manu,Messi/Ronaldo guys were always having heated arguments. .

Watching football is more enjoyable when there is a crowd arguing and shouting at the top of their voices .. The adrenaline and loud roar of "gooooooooooaal" has this feeling that is second to none... And you can't experience it in the comfort of your sitting room.

I just had more interest in his games this season, and its been traumatic watching him make those slow attempts to tackle

Yeah, I agree he was extreme in his criticism and he did a generalization that wasn't really necessary. But he made some nice points about over crowdedness of the place and how one tends to outgrow such places except one finds it difficult to pay to watch match in a more conducive location.

I really don't know why Chelsea signed him. I watched him at Fulham before they were relegated back then and there wasn't anything fantastic about him.

When I read Chelsea's signed him, I was wondering whether he had suddenly improved and Chelsea scouts saw something we didn't see with naked eyes.

As you grow and mature, you go realize say you will preffer watching in a more quiet comfort zone, where you can hear the commentators, and not have people shouting on your ear always.

TBH, its been upto 5yrs since I last wemt to a viewing center. If I am not at home, I use a streaming site and watch on my own

In viewing center, you will hear views that are completely arsss...and unfounded. [Many people will be throwing around words and saying things that never happend anywhere. You go dey hear "dem say dem say..blah blah". It irritates me.

There are viewing centers and there are viewing centers. The guy is specifically referring to the specific kind of viewing center highlighted in that tweet.

Most people in this pix will jump at opportunity of watching their team play in a more conducive environment like a lounge or decent open bar. Most people will not watch match here of their own volition if they have means to watch elsewhere. As and even as adults we all watched matches in that kind of viewing center, but nowadays most people would prefer to watch on a big screen where there's proper ventilation.

You see the image from that twitter guy eh, nobody who have actually seen money he worked for will force himself inside that sardine container to watch any game of football. I just don't see it.

There are neat viewing centers that have good ventilation. Viewing centers are all around. If one is dirty you look for a neat one.

What about comfort? Most viewing centers use benches that don't have backrest.

Most times it's only people who sit at the back or close to the wall that really get to rest their backs. Viewing centers being properly ventilated is a farce though; when it's a star match the whole place will be crowded and no viewing center owner will send some customers away because he wants you to be comfortable and breath fresh air.

I used to enjoy watching matches at crowded up viewing centers like one in the tweet, but not anymore. The discomfort that comes with sitting on a bench without back rest in such poorly ventilated space will not make the match enjoyable no matter how I would've love to hate-watch rival team's matches.

Some years back, my typical Saturday starts by 12:15 pm when I would've secured a back seat at the viewing center to watch the early kickoff by 12.30pm. I literally watched all matches of the day from 12.30pm to 6.30pm (And at times even till 8.00 pm). Na viewing center I go chop sef.

But with time and growth, the lifestyle just wasn't want I could keep up with. Just like you, I enjoy watching these football matches in the comfort of my home snacking or drinking whatever drink I wish to. Sometimes one or two friends join me and at times I go to my friends' too. We banter about our clubs and all that. And once in a while If we feel like watching it outside, we go to modern bars with proper ventilation where no be say person blood go rise before he reach house.

The amount of shouting, false information and anyhow argument makes viewing centers annoying. I have also noticed city and Liverpool fans don plenty.
