Situations like this are really tough for men! Men love children alot and tend to bond more with them. So, having to unlove a loved child is really difficult. Let's just pray we don't find ourselves in that position, but in the event that it happens, I think the best thing is to adopt the child even while treating the woman's fackup. After all, people have been adopting and raising other people's children since the beginning of time. My mom adopted and raised two children abandoned at infancy, so it's no big deal provided the fund is there.
