What type of rubbish journalism is this self? This is what all these fuel stations will see and jerk up the prices immediately despite the fact that they still have few months to the implementation. Besides, I am suspecting Dangote to drastically reduce his own price when all these implementation starts. You will see Dangote fuel from those that are patronising him around 825 and those importing it around 990. Now the choice is yours..ha ha.. Hope it won't later backfire and some people will sabotage his efforts causing artificial scarcity, just like what pengassan wanted to do. Time will tell. All is a game and a war at the same time. Cabals backbone must to be broken by all means. |

callmeDDD:Dangote has affiliated retail outlets which sell at gantry price. And the fact that Dangote is now supplying directly to any fuel station registered with him, it is easy for him to monitor the price of the stations he sells directly. If any of the stations try to sabotage his efforts, he will rather cut them off. |

This is a very bad policy. What stops Dangote and other local refineries from matching the prices of imported products to maximize profits. Buhari implemented similar policy to protect local rice farmers after giving them billions, they turned around and matched the price of foreign rice and even increased same. This is an open market capitalist system. Profit maximization is the ultimate goal |

iwaeda:I see you were among the ojota.crowd in 2012. As for me, subsidy removal is a good thing. You don't have to be supporting either tinubu, buhari, GEJ , or Obasanjo to see that. I saw the light under GEJ. It should have gone in 2012, by now we would have had more refineries competing with dangote. |

fuckingAyaya:You are free to call me tinubu supporter..I know I will never vote for him But budget was based on oil being at 75 dollars per barrel. Instead oil this year has been between 63-68 dollars. That means as far as the budget is concerned, revenues per barrel have fallen by as much as 7-13 dollars That means deficit, and in the short term loans and or taxes. Now I think we take too many loans. But at the end of the day, if you want to reduce loans , taxation is of the essence. As at 2019, 30% of us pay taxes to federal and state governments. Our tax to gdp is low. Most don't pay because informal sector. We can argue that poverty is the issues. Yes. And corruption of this government is out of control. But if we eliminated corruption in 2024, our budget is still 30 trillion naira which when shared among all Nigerians gives us 180000 naira for the year. Not monthly, yearly It's going to take time to fix the issues with revenue gathering from minerals and agric. But today we need money, and IMF is shouting at us about taking too much loans. Taxing and widening the tax net is the answer, alongside fighting corruption, reducing the budget for government, and reducing the size of the civil service and so forth. If you want to complain about tax, know that you want your government to add to the loans it is already taking This is the same issue whoever is in charge. Lord knows , tinubu is not fit to be president of this country Subsidy removal only reduced the amount of money we spent on debt servicing. It did not increase overall amount Like I said, I no dey support any politicans. This has been my view since 2012 or thereabouts |
