Osun 2026: Adeleke The Governor Of Ede Land, We Have Never Witness It Before by press9jatv(op): 2:47pm On Oct 31, 2025
Former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun accused Governor Adeleke of nepotism in the higest order

Alao Adeolu, a former member of the PDP in Osun while expressing his views on Facebook over the mode of governance by the Adeleke administration wrote,

“Politics apart, some people are just plain greedy. It’s difficult to turn a blind eye to the blatant favoritism being exhibited in Osun State under Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration. Let’s talk about Ede – a single town that seems to have become the exclusive beneficiary of this government’s appointments and projects.

Take a look at this:
• Governor: From Ede.
• Chief of Staff: Ede.
• Commissioner for Works: Ede.
• Commissioner for Special Duties: Ede.
• Commissioner for Federal Matters: Ede.
• Commissioner for Science, Innovation, and Technology: Ede.
• Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission: Ede.
• Chairman of OHIS: Ede.
• Chairman of O’Ambulance: Ede.
• SUBEB Executive Secretary: Ede.
• Iree Polytechnic Rector: Ede.
• Osun State College of Technology Esa Oke From Ede

And if that’s not enough, let’s add these numbers:
• 20 Special Advisers (Cabinet and Non-Cabinet): Many from Ede.
• 53 Senior Special Assistants (SSA): Many from Ede.
• Over 100 Special Assistants (SA): A significant number from Ede.

“Now, as if this unfair concentration of appointments wasn’t enough, there’s talk of relocating the Ido-Osun Airport project to Ede. But why? Why should one town hold such an overwhelming share of the state’s resources and opportunities?

“Governor Adeleke, you were elected to govern Osun State, not just Ede. It’s high time your administration embraced inclusivity and equitable distribution of appointments and resources. Osun is made up of diverse towns and communities, all deserving of a fair share of governance.

“This isn’t just about politics. It’s about fairness, justice, and the future of Osun State. Let us rise above nepotism and build a government that truly

Adeleke should be preparing his handover notes, he has done what Ede sons and daughters sent him to do.

Dude... Go and sleep.

Last time I checked, those of us living in osun are not complaining. Infact, it's only your hatred for him that made you dig up this nonsense because no one in the state cares. When Aregbesola was taking everything to ilesha and ife, were your eyes and brains on sabbatical then?

I always wish never to get hurt like you by anyone. Singing their praises today and digging up the most stupid things to try to bring them down tomorrow. Is that how much Adeleke has hurt your feelings? Or is it PDP that hurt you that much?

You keep saying Adeleke doesn't stand a chance in the forthcoming elections, yet you keeping digging up irrelevancies. Bro, calm down. Most people will read and pass, elections are not won online. Those of us on ground know what the scores are, and we'll let you know what the scores are come election day.

I initially saw your posts as just that of a hateful hurt person that will get over it at some point but it has become obvious you've chosen this as an identity. Keep the mud coming, we are all pigs in the same sty.

Looks like both Ife and Modakeke that almost came to blows over his election both got nothing .

It was the humility and wisdom of the Ooni that helped to keep things calm

It was a very good thing that nobody died
