Lagos didn't start with the Europeans-----They only expanded what they met... The Aworis and other Yoruba groups had built thriving settlements.. trade and leadership long before the colonial rule.

Lagos become a megacity doesn't erase its Yoruba roots, it only proves how strong those roots are.
