According to some folks I thought nothing is happening in south east, south east is desolated, all the Igbos are now in Lagos. So south east is so safe contrary to the opinion of Agberos that even Osun girl schooled there comfortably to the point that she came out as the overall best student.
My dear, don't mind them. The proprietor of Great CIDS (Uzochukwu Solormy Ochokwu) is my elder brother, I mean the same mother, same father. So many Yorubas likewise other tribes have passed out of this school including the young guy that fixed my car during covid Tomiwa. Now the young guy who went to be trained as a mechanic after he graduated from CIDS is now doing very well. One thing with those people is that most of them don't travel, so they believe every nonsense on media.

Where is Madridguy?

I hope you learn few lessons from this girl's academic pursuit in Igbo Land.

Not long ago, you carpeted a local government Chairman in Ifo, Ogun state, for recognizing Igbo girl who excelled in JAMB examinations. You were livid with anger and vowed The Chairman will never return to Power and would be sanctioned appropriately.

His offense was because he recognized and rewarded excellence. Now,in Igbo Land,a Yoruba pupil is being recognized for coming out tops in examinations. No discrimination.

Are you not ashamed now?

There is limit to Hate and tribalism.

Shame unto you!!!

Congrats to her. But I thought my fellow brothers who have never left the boarders of Lagos and iragbiji said there are no Omuluabis in the easthuh If you tell them to travel out of their pigeon holes and see the diverse cultures littered around Nigeria they say no.
They only believe the narrative the biased envelope accepting media tells them.
You do know there are Federal workers with civil service and Varsity staff posted there...

There can only be Federal workers and their families there, why would anyone in his right mind want to go and invest in a region with 3 working days with Majority of it youthful populations fleeing enmass...

They are everywhere that's what I am trying to tell my Yoruba brothers. Nigeria doesn't begin and end in Lagos and iragbiji.

Is this supposed to be a news? Why is where she's from a news worthy of rubbing off on the achievement.

Well maybe such a feat is rare.
Even if they didn't name her state of origin, her name would have given her away. And people will still say she's from South West

Congratulations to the school for not judging based on tribal sentiments. Other schools would have brushed her aside and choose the next best Igbo students as the best.

This shows we still have sincere people in this country who are not nepotistic and tribalistic.
All those all round best are too cleared to be covered up. Is not possible to cover such, it will end up embarrassing that school. You can see how she went there and adhered to every guideline. That is exactly what many biafrans that come to Lagos always fail to do; they will not follow guidelines laid down for them and when they are punished somehow for that, they will be shouting "is it because I am Igbo..?".

This girl has come to teach you omoluabi moral standard you should always adhere to when you come to south west. Congratulations to the girl and to the school! Now that she also got best in Igbo language, who knows; she may be the one to complete Samuel Ajayi crowther mission in future in Alaigbo. Congrat to the school

Such things only happens in Yorubaland. If it's in the South west, the school would have sidelined her and awarded the best performing indigene to avoid issues from the public.

You can’t judge us we are just 10 to 15 percent living outside oduduwa regions majority of us will rather travel to aboard rather than going all places in Nigeria to invest just count us out… no matter what even if majority of people don’t do something you will see little and penny out of them that will do it… we don’t believe investing around Nigeria rather than doing it in south west… so drink your comment and eat it… we are not like you who run away from your home..
What this comment just highlighted is that other Nigerians ( Igbo, Hausa, Fulani, Idoma, Ibibio etc) believe in the one Nigeria than the Yoruba. And that's why they branch out of their comfort zones to go live and invest on other regions.

Liar, it happens everywhere in Nigeria. Nepotism is not peculiar to certain tribes, It is a Nigerian thing. The Yoruba’s have even been more liberal than any other tribes in Nigeria, and I speak from my experience. I have seen other tribes being recruited in state government offices in Lagos, something you hardly hear about in other states. I went to General Hospital at Broad street some year back, a non Yoruba was the one who attended to me, excellent service. So nah, you are wrong.

You're calling me a lier but earlier this year when jamb results were out, a school in Yorubaland celebrated an igbo lad who scored highest in the state but the whole community and even Yorubas online were calling for the head of the L.G.A chairman who publicised the boy's achievement. He had to come out publicly to criticise the ethnic bigotry of his own people.
Oga when I served in Anam at the ministry of youth and sports development, there were Yorubas in the ministry, the man who signs my clearance form was a Yoruba, Mr Kehinde. Even at the secretariat there were Yorubas and Hausas working there. So relax.

When it comes to tribalism, no other people carry it for head like South west people, shey I live in Lagos and I know what I'm seeing and facing here.

You still don't get it.

I called you liar, not because what you said isn't true. But because you said that it only in Yoruba land that tribalism and nepotism happens.

I am telling you that it is true. Nepotism and tribalism happens all over the country, you cannot just single out the Yorubas. That's my point.

I thought yorubas don't live permanently in south east according to tinubu supporters..

E no go better for all the people making that silly statement
Typical of MOST eebohs, they are ALWAYS deflecting attention......we're talking about a Yoruba girl beating all eastern girls inside the SE, and you're busy saying you thought there was no single Westerner in the SE??!!!

The fact is that an Omoluabi from Osun, traveled with her parents to Nigeria's SE region and topped all the girls and boys in her domiciled region or state. ISN'T THAT A NOTEWORTHY ACHIEVEMENT!!!

Being truthful to yourself [NOT LYING O!]: In your heart, you yourself know that that is a BIG LIE!!!

Eebohs are the most tribalistic tribe I have ever heard about in my life!
While Haussaas are the most religiously bigoted tribe:::::

I AM talking GENERALLY O! Not everyone, but taking statistics from different region, that is the case.

Yourubas on the other hand, often lack unity, but have a generally fair outlook on life, are modest, not gregarious, but find it difficult to help their own close relatives atimes, especially when they see that helping them might bring them both in contention of sorts. Again, disunity of sorts.
