There are private refineries in the South East though.

Yeah sure, but what I am saying is that it doesn't make any sense for the government to build arefinery in a region without crude oil reserves yet didn't consider the south east that has oil and gas.

The data i posted is from The NUPRC (Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission).
Which remains the legally recognized authority responsible for collecting and publishing Nigeria’s crude oil production data.
Every other source is fake and should be disregarded

Many Southeasterners have Oil Mining licences, and some have licences to build refineries since the days of OBJ, why are they not building refineries?
