Softmirror:There's a difference btw double standard and an unbiased Nigerian who saw ya brain that it think anyone stating facts and having a different opinion is tagged a particular name. Not everyone you see in that category are oppositions. Killings of Christians are happening and people can't deny. Na una fu ck up by not taking bold steps from the past. |

Timubu will become an opposition very soon if he doesn't act fast. He should move to Benue and Southern Kaduna fast to curb Christians killing. If not, he will give himself a bad name. |

FG is blind to the data. I do not agree with Trump but his data suggests that there is carelessness on the part of the government. That amount of Christians killed is unacceptable. I still remember particular cases with pain where female Christians have been burnt via jungle justice. May GOD punish the perpetrators. |

Under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, the statement continued, Nigeria “remains committed to fighting terrorism, strengthening interfaith harmony, and protecting the lives and rights of all its people.” How is government protecting its citizen when kwara villages were attack and people left in their numbers. Many communities are desolate. This government went ahead to signed peace agreement with terrorist and even place them on monthly salaries without given justice to people who died in these madness. Turji Bello and others terrorists are walking freely as if they committed no atrocities. Christians were buried in their numbers in southern Kaduna and part of Plateau state both young and old. Where is the justice and where is the protection?? The declaration by Trump is nothing but the truth. |

You organise peace talk with terrorist and you expect the US government to take you serious? You think they don't know what's going on in this country? |

These ones don't even understand what's at play and the consequences of such statement by Trump. You are using the aide to a minister to respond, instead of the minister himself and better still the president to comment on it directly, telling Trump the government is doing all it can to stop the killings that affects all religions and tribes. You don't know what an erratic Trump will see as a sleight on his person and what action he may take if he feels disrespected personally or on the issue he posted on. |

It is not enough for the government to reject but to show convincing effort made towards the fight against the insurgency. It is very indicting that the sponsors of this criminaliyshould be publicly shame and prosecuted |

Tinubu na fool .. he thinks buhari was a stupid man for rejecting Muslim Muslim ticket when he suggested it back in 2015.... his desperation will lead him to disaster ... Trump go make sure that he deals with him , starting from his criminal record and fake certificate in usa ...he will be exposed and disgraced....he should just start getting ready to leve that place in 2027 ... he is the worst ruler in the history of this country..... whenever the igbos reject a candidate, just know say that candidate is up for doom ... what an Igbo man sees , it takes others years to get to see same |

cr7lomo:Let's not be sentimental about our views. It wasn't only Igbos that didn't vote for Tinubu, majority of the South South, middle belt and many parts of the Norths dominated by Christians didn't vote him. He rigged his way in, is as simple as that |

The sultan of Sokoto has been campaigning for social media regulations because he knows that social media is biggest obstacle to jihadist and islamic conquest in Nigeria. They keep denying genocide against Christians in Nigeria. |

What the US has just succeeded in doing is call a dog a bad name and hang it. In truth, no human being deserves to be killed extrajudicially no matter what. So it not a question of how many Christians or Muslims are unjustifiably killed. This picture of "Christian genocide" has been painted and sustained because the authorities have never meant business when it comes to dealing with the issues of insecurity in the country. They have always appeared lackadaisical instead of attacking the issues head-on. When Muslims are killed, the common response from mainly Southerners is "na dem-dem" or simply "Hausa kill Fulani, wetin be my consign". The USA can't claim to love Nigeria more than Nigerians. What we are experiencing in Nigeria today are citizens who are either disgruntled or simply unpatriotic. They are sheer sadists who jubilate over any negative news to happen to Nigeria, their supposed country. @hotseat |
