Perhaps you should read on how transfers are resourced in the Saudi League. It is not as how it is done in the English leagues.

There are so many leagues all over the world that would gladly take him for a short spell. If done right, it may open up a new business model for players and clubs can cash in on.

For instance, if he plays in the South Korean league for a short term and it proves successful in wooing a massive audienced in that country, clubs may begin to bid to have top talent to paly for them during those short windows.
