smtx:I am eager to see how the US will help solve this problem. In my opinion, the persecution of Christians (and all other ills in the land) persists because of the kind of leadership Nigerian voters have opted for. You cant outsource the management of your internal problems to another nation(not the US). We as Nigerians need to start taking responsibility for our actions. |

nairalanda1:No wahala. Since you don't want to see what's happening in the core North, Let it continue and Trump is coming to smoke out Islamic terrorist. Even countries at full blown war don't experience war every part their country. Trump isn't Sleeping Joe. |

Many saw this mumu ticket and shouted at the top of their voices, but nobody listened. Now see where it brought us. It is shameful that people like mockery rhino who know the truth look the other way because of crumps. CAN and PFN suddenly lost their voices. They have killed one too many for it to continue unnoticed. The world has seen, no amount of press briefings, press releases will change the black into white.

They badly need their military base in a country like Nigeria, what better way than to label it with a bad name just to hang it? |

FarahAideed:When their military cannot stop rampaging terrorists like bandits and Boko Haram, and also allowing them control territories, it is deeply disgraceful. Though beyond Islamic terrorism, I sense the target is to distabilise Dangote refinery. If the Nigerian govt is serious, they better close these bandits and terrorists issues in the north by themselves for the sake of Dangote interests in Nigeria or Nigeria is about being reduced to squalors |

I PRAY NIGERIANS WAKE UP FROM SLEEP TRUMP IS ONLY AFTER NIGERIA OIL AND LITHIUM. Trade and Investment: Trump's general approach to African nations has been a shift from traditional aid to a focus on trade and bilateral investment opportunities, encouraging U.S. companies to invest. "America First" Stance: Overall, his policies are guided by the "America First" agenda, meaning any engagement with Nigeria, whether concerning oil, minerals, or security, is framed around how it benefits American national interests. |

AirBere:It's so shocking and disappointing, to say the least...! These people have repeatedly kept mute and acted like all is well throughout the times reports about killings across the nation were reported. It took the words of Trump in far away America to make them remember that we there are resources in Nigeria. What has the average Nigerian ever benefited from these resources?!! What have all the oil in South-south benefited Ijaws and others?!! What have average Northerners gained from Gold and solid minerals in the far North?!! All the Billions generated in Lagos and Abuja end up in the pockets of few politicians. |

Nigerians mumu for America too much. Nigerian Christians think America cares about them. Don't believe this nonsense. And don't support any invasion. We should dismantle all these terror groups ASAP (which the cabals are using to clear people off their land just to sell rare earth minerals on black market) They will try to get a base in Nigeria (which Nigeria has been denying them for years now.) They will corner all our newly found rare earth minerals. Naira will skyrocket to 5000 per dollar due to the instability The Giant of Africa will be used to send message to the whole Africa that you either corporate with US and less with China or you get destroyed like Nigeria. |

ElSudani:Some of us see through Donald Trump's charade. We know that his government during his first term and his current second term detests Nigeria and is uncooperative with Nigerian government. The president Tinubu's government too treats USA with less regard aswell so Donald Trump is uncomfortable. The interest of USA in Venezuelan oil is threatened by China and Russia hence Donald Trump and USA are trying to shift focus to lesser targets with oil and mineral resources wealth like Nigeria. If Donald Trump's intention is truly to help, why is he not engaging diplomatic channels to achieve such help, cooperation and military support. Why is he being condescending, despicable and disrespectful towards Nigeria? Why is he trying to bully, embarrass and harass Nigeria? |
| Re: Trump Threatens To Stop Aid And Start Military Action In Nigeria by Osariemen12: 7:23am On Nov 02, 2025 |
Over 200 Christians killed in Plateau over night and their villages renamed in Islamic Fulani language, over 100 Christians killed in Venue and all the president did was to go to the Venue state capital to take a ceremonial title, and over 40 Christians killed in Uzouwani, Enugu and all the government could say was for the people to give up their lands to avoid being killed. Yet, you want us to believe that the Fulani militias are not after Christians. The US government should act fast before the Christianity becomes extinct in Nigeria. The US would likey do that from their FOB in Ghana. They have drones and fighter jets operating from there. No need to send an aircraft carrier for small jihadists. MadeInTokyo: |

Angelfrost:Baba leave those selfish Ediots. Shouting resources like resources is more important than human lives. Resources that they do not even see. No be Nigeria again? Natural resources wey nobody dey see only on statistics. Christians are being killed yet people are turning blind eye. Some Nigerians are terrible. To travel by road nah wahala, na so so prayers because common man is afriad of being killed or kidnapped. Nah so a nurse colleague in the UK came to Nigeria and was kidnapped, ransom was paid but them still kill am. Abeggi!!! Absolute nonsense 😠✖️ |

justpower:I don't know why some Nigerians are myopic in thinking. There gullibility will cost them a lot. Americans have been looking for means to enter Nigeria since inception. Jonathan denied America from coming to fight the so called insurgency they created. Buhari denied them, now they have changed their strategy to Genocide on Christians. |

US bombs doesn't discriminate between between terrorists and civilians, it leaves destruction of the innocent and properties!, and regrets in its wake. Forget what you see in movies. While our govt hasn't covered itself in glory with the way they are handling terrorism, let's becareful what we wish for. Take a quick peep into countries where various Western powers have supposedly intervened in. Vietnam, Libya, Iraq, Afganistan etc. Plus the US doesn"t target a country for intervention unless it has resources they can gain from or they feel threatened by it government's policy. Believe it or not, Trump is a very corrupt individual. Same stunt he is pulling with Venezuela. |

AirBere:Pls I hope you're not a baby in this world. The only way America can fetch your Oil and Lithium is to cause artificial crisis in your country and then enter your country to achieve their aim. Good luck Jonathan denied them when they claim they can rescue kidnapped Chibok girls |

004gist:You can leave IPOB from it from your own side, but it will never change the fact that ipob exposed your evil Nigeria government and the killing of Christians in Nigeria. Without them you won't have results like this. IPOB are not monsters in East, your zoo government is the monsters. They are the ones that committed the crimes those places you mentioned just to destroy peaceful agitation. Even international communities knows ipob are not responsible. Below 👇 listen to your zoo minister crying on national television that ipob is responsible for US action, and the reports from inter society stated Nigeria government is responsible for killings in East. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1EdA5UURmk/ Only unintelligent people that don't know what is false flag operations will blame ipob for what happened in East.
