Because Tinubu rejected the establishment of Military Base in Nigeria. Tinubu rejected deportation of criminals. Tinubu refused to dance to IMF blackmail, NIGERIA First policy , 15% tarrif on imported petroleum products.

When the Northern Elites, Elders and different groups told Tinubu to reject the establishment of US Military Base in Nigeria despite several pleas, several lobbying I wrote on nairaland that the NORTH cannot singlehandedly decide what happens to the entire NIGERIA. You're being too sentimental with your statement. Your own president Tinubu openly denied the obvious slaughter of christians going on in the country. How can he initiate a fight against something he denies exist? He thought Trump is a fool. Before the US takes any action, just know that they'd have done their research underground.
