Yes you're right, that's how CDCFIB recruitment always be, people do get in through general recruitment like this with out know anybody even last fire service recruitment we've some people like that but they're few

Must of the people we usually say they got in with out knowing anybody are people that their local government area they comes from works in their favor, must time not because of their performance, if you come from local government area that has less applicants or no highly connected person pushing for a candidate that person maybe lucky

Any recruitment that you see they shortlisted almost all the applicants like this just forget about it nah format

You see those few first set of people that saw their names on Thursday evening they're the real deal

The honorable minister is a very goodman but you need to understand that sometimes somethings goes beyond politicians and political appointee, a name can't be sent to them from presidency or from a principal senators or committee chairman and he'll say no

on the exams day, I saw many people who said ,they didn't even know what they clicked but they were shortlisted. I honestly don't know what criteria dey often look at. Well like the Bible rightly said, it is not of he that runneth, but of him who the lord showeth mercy.

You know the funny thing, most of the people that were shortlisted on that first day might not actually make it in, fr fr. Most of the final list isn't made up of anyone who went through the processes (this is subject to change of course but when has anything changed for the better in Nigeria?)

See ehn, I have seen things wallahi, I used to be soo naive, patriotic & shyt 😀. Eventually the sheer amount of corruption, nepotism & godfatherism humbled me, So decided to face my front & survive like say d country na jungle.

The only agency that does some semblance of merit in recruitment in this country is NNPC alone, even at dat I don't think d merit allocation is dat much, but u would easily see & feel d impact around u & online!!!

The rest are just bullshyting as usual
Anyways people should apply for all recruitment & try their best, perhaps u would get lucky. But no put too much hope please

exactly, I often wonder why the always try to pass that trauma with seeking for govt jobs to others. Your expirence is necessarily not another man's own. And average Nigerian knows how corrupt the govt job scene really is. But does mean God and fate is still not in the business of lifting unknown people to greater things.
