stuffs2002:UAE in conjunction with United States intelligence arrested and jailed Nigerian sponsors of bokoharam that are residing in Dubai. They sent the remaining names to Nigerian government to take action but your government swept it under the rug. Till today nobody on that list in the north have been prosecuted. A government that protects sponsors or terrorism is not a serious government. Yes US always have their ulterior motives but would you rather allow islamic terrorists to destroy the nation? |

hafeeanubasy:Keep it up, even you are being roasted by Tinubu policies, keep shouting hosanna and following him like bambiala. Let him change his economy policies and way his rulling Nigeria and see overwhelming support from citizens. You ask yourself, the kind of investigation is ongoing for attempted coup, can 1/10 of it happen, for insecurity in Benue and plateau? You ask yourself if you are not Yoruba, will you be happy with the way, he yorubalised his govt? Is only Yorubas that has intelligent to do magic in a multiethnic society? During the time of Buhari, we Yoruba were the one who shouted most about composition of fulanilization of his govt, but now majority of you, suddenly loss your voice because it favour Yoruba, is that how to build a nation to prosperity? |

Yankee101:This US intention to invade Nigeria is not because of religious killings. If it were religious killings, US should have invaded Nigeria when Muhammadu Buhari was the president and when HellRufai was the governor in Kaduna State and Ortom the governor of Benue State. The religious killings and carnage of that era can never be forgotten on this earth. BUT WHAT DID THE UNITED STATES DO? Nothing! Because they had their stooge in power. Come back to Tinubu, it is obvious that the current has malfunctioned in the eyes of the United States. It is not what they expected. Somehow, his ability to REJECT HARDENED CRIMINALS THAT TRUMP WANTED TO DEPORT TO NIGERIA (as if Nigeria is a maximum security prison) IS THE LAST STRAW ON THE CAMEL'S BACK. How did Trump expect Nigeria with all our criminals in government to accept the worst criminals from the US when he should have normally deported them back to their countries? He wanted them to serve their prison term, but he wanted it to be in a maximum security prison which Trump mistook Nigeria for. Would he accept such nonsense? Why didn't he deport them to the UK or any European country? ANOTHER problem that this man Trump has with Nigeria is that Dangote Refinery is up and running. He knows what that means in the next 5 years in terms of exchange rate. Trump is also aware that Dangote wants to go into oil production. He knows that once this happens, some of the crude theft and inefficiencies that the US benefits from will cut by half. Trump knows that Nigeria being self reliant in energy means doom for the US and the West. I have always admired the US and President Trump but this is nonsense. He's not coming to liberate the christians. Christians have no such urgent needs to be liberated in Nigeria now more than it was in the days of Buhari. All they want is to come, bomb the oil infrastructure, take charge of the oil, and execute their agenda. As much as I believe that the US played a siginficant role in 2023, they're seeing the current president as someone who is not sticking to the agenda, someone who has malfunctioned, someone who they'll likely lose control of. Think of the 15% import duty imposed on imported fuel products, it is also a sign that the US might be losing grip of the Nigerian economy, hence their intention to invade as they did in Lybia. The problem is after some diplomatic meetings that will follow, the US will end up getting a good slice of control over the policies of the federal government. Personally I don't like APC and the sufferings they bring on the people, but I don't like the US meddling in our affairs now, When they should have intervened in the Buhari's 8 years of carnage. Where was the US and Trump in the 8 years of Buhari? These people want to control our country by all means. Why didn't they react or intervene in 2023 after the uproar and disgust that followed the 2023 elections? Where was America? Lest i forget, Nigeria refused to go to war with Niger Republic who sent away the US military base. They pushed and encouraged, tried to manipulate President Tinubu to go to war with Niger but he refused. I believe this was part of the instances they believed that Tinubu malfunctioned. So they want to show Nigeria shege. They believe, eat, wear, drink, dream and walk America first but they don't want other countries to put their interest first. My only problem is that Tinubu failed to take a decisive action on the sponsors and sympathizers of Boko Haram when he entered. But how could he have done it when he needs second term? This country na wa, but US should leave us alone. |

correctguy101:“Wouldn’t dare..” is a wrong word. They can do it and nothing will happen. In fact after doing it, the United Nations will send a letter of appreciation for them. But I agree with you : they won’t do it. Nigeria is very unimportant in their political strategy. |

What a crazy time we are in. We are left with 3 choices; support the external aggressor (US) against our internal oppressors (Politicians, Terrorists) and naively hope for a change, or join hands with the 'hated' politicians against the external aggressor and risk things remaining the way they are. Last option is to take the country back from the looters and bandits and control our destiny while shutting the door against the external aggressor. |

hafeeanubasy:quick question: the thousands of lives lost to insecurity, were people not already learning the hard way for voting in this disaster of a government. Another one, why has this tragedy fallen on Nigeria? Is it not thanks to the idiots up there presiding over us? Goan sit down jare. Brace yourself, make peace with whatever god you serve. From this ashes a better nation will arise. Future Nigerians wherever they may be will be better for it. They won't have to die senselessly anymore. |

omoredia:APC government is feeling the heat of what they did to GEJ in 2015. They all went to the same Amelika under Obama (the useless democrat) to discredit GEJ government. Now, they are getting what they dish to others. Moral lesson: Never wish your neighbour bad because you plan to covet his wife and property. Tomorrow may be your nemesis. APC is enjoying the show. ![]() |

It sounds bad but something has to be done about the killings that have caused farmers their livelihood and other issues. But Trump is not crazy, the yapping only ends at that, he will have to work with president Tinubu. It will actually lead to the division of the country since it’s the only way cases like this one have ended. LibertyRep: |

Kreesxxx:I am 200% sure that you typed this from Lagos or Onitsha. To you, everyone in the north is a Isslamist. You’ve never crossed the lines of Abuja to know beyond your imagination. Little do you know that the population of the north is about 40% Christians. Even in the core north, like Zamfara, Katsina, Kebbi, etc. there are whole towns and villages that are 100% Christians. So where do you keep those ones? You leave them for their fate? |

Callous, arrogant Tinubu and his Draconian APC regime have made a lot of enemies both domestically and internationally by misruling Nigeria, creating a Hallmark of decay and ruins in virtually every humanitarian related sector. This move by the US is not unconnected to the scheme of some so called powerful "justice league" interested in a regime change in Nigeria for the sake of the suffering poor masses. I am 100% behind a regime change in Nigeria spearheaded by the mighty US of A. |

I don’t care about foreign governments; I don’t want them in our country. But to deny that there isn’t a genocide is to enable the jihad going on against non-Muslims. Even the Muslims who are being targeted are only those who refused to be radicalized. These two radical Islamist Bashir Ahmad and Pantami are the front men shouting there is no genocide in Nigeria, and yet not long ago they were calling for the Islamization of Nigeria. Other northerners were calling for Fulani jihad and saying Nigeria will be Islamized soon. This was one year ago. Now today they are defending the claim that there is no Christian genocide because they don’t want their dream of an Islamic republic of Nigeria to be shattered. I asked a question before and no one was willing to give a straight answer. Why is it that the majority—almost 80%—of those saying there is no genocide going on in Nigeria are Muslims? You think they don’t know what they’re doing? We need to rise up and destroy all the terrorists and their sponsors in this country, and also bring down those with the idea of Islamizing Nigeria or making the whole country under Sharia law. That topic itself should be declared a terrorist statement and should be given a jail term. We still have a chance to make a choice. If we don’t, we can see clearly how Sudan ended up as North and South because of this same thing. If we don’t do the needful, this country will end up like Sudan. There is a focused massacre against Christians and non-Muslims, and yes, it is higher than Hausa Muslims being killed by Fulani Islamic terrorists. That is the fact. The others stay silent for reasons best known to them, but Christians and people of other faiths will not and cannot remain silent. The Owo bloody massacre is still fresh and should never be forgotten. So I don’t want American government involvement. I don’t want any foreign soldiers in my country. I want our gallant heroes—our military—to be given full authority to destroy the terrorists. No more excuses or playing politics with the violence. Give them the authority to arrest or eliminate any governor, senator, House of Reps member, or even traditional leader in cahoots with these terrorists. And I want all the so-called repentant Boko Haram members removed from the military. Remove those with proven Boko Haram ties from our security services as well. At the same time, properly support and reward our troops: increase pay so even the lowest ranks can feed their families and do their jobs honorably — a baseline of ₦400,000–₦500,000 for the lowest ranks would be a start. |

I knew these days would come moment the promoters of Sharia law, headed by sultan of Sokoto, were hellbent on forcing Sharia on the Yoruba's South West. It's about time those landless orphans from nowhere are made to understand that Nigeria will never be an enclave of some primitive islamists. It won't just happen. President Donald Trump, let's have some actions here! |
