100% correct. Whatever legitimately forces the hand of Tinubu or any other President from the South, I know will always be compromised by the divisive ethno-religious 'Nigerian factor' many feign ignorance of, is welcomed.

We know those, hateful of Tinubu they feel denied them their long-awaited Presidency, who will always make this about PBAT rather than speak the truth about Nigeria as we all know it

Simplistically, it is crystal clear to all upright, critical thinking and honest Nigerians that Northern Presidents, usually Fulanis, won't kill the Killers of Nigerians, and would rather "rehabilitate" and "reabsorb" them into society.

Same North, biggest victims of terrorism and insecurity, will never allow a Southern President (be it OBJ, GRJ and now Tinubu) kill these vicious killers of Nigerians they know must be wiped out for peace and progress to reign.

They will begin shouting "genocide against Moslem Northerners" they will then use to justify inviting their compatriots worldwide, especially in the neighbouring Sahel Nations, to invade Nigeria and fight/kill the "infidel haters of Islam". This is the constant trap they set for Nigeria meaning we will never overcome insecurity bar third force actor involvement.

This is where the involvement of the USA, though cynical and self-serving, could be a great compromise because a Southern President, i.e Tinubu, now has the perfect excuse, courtesy of the threats of the USA against Nigeria, to ask for military help, to stave off formal threats of US-instigated sanctions etal that could be socio-economically harmful to Nigeria. Especially if other nations side with the USA.

Tinubu should do the needful and initiate a formal terror engagement action plan with the USA, that Nigeria will control and be in charge of always.

With the caveat, taking into account the reservation of Sowore and all well-meaning Nigerians, Tinubu should attempt adoption of a model that carries along other moderate/reasonable Western nations in Europe and other continents of the World.

Rather than work exclusively with the USA known for military incursions into nations, for their own ulterior motives, to then leave treacherously and dishonorably after those nations are ruined and devastated.

When they said Christian dying everyday, I think it's only in the regions with history of religion intolerance for decades. Muslims and Christians in the south hardly fight or kill themselves, why it's major in d north is because of non education and Thier backwardness. Fanaticism is at its peak in the north. USA intervention would destabilise Nigeria and create more security issues for us.

Nigeria is been run by arrogant, greedy and nonchalant individuals and I hope this latest statement by Trump would awaken them to their responsibilities. I pray the government reassess the security situation in Nigeria, take decisive actions and bring results.

For all of you shouting dissolution etc, this is not the answer and anything that destabilises Nigeria will affect every region and ethnicity adversely. You don’t need a psychic to foretell the dangers ahead if that happens.
