War crime is not only when you take a gun and kill people. When you have made life miserable for others that is war crime. When you have made basic necessities unreachable and unaffordable, that is war crime. That's what Awolowo advised Nigerian government during the war. Food that were meant to be sent to Biafran people were horded in Lagos and the people died of kwoshioko.
