To my fellow countrymen, this is an important moment where we should emphasise unity of belonging over division.
What are you even saying, where is the unity abeg?
You want all christians to finish before this issue is tackled?

retired Gen. Theophilus (T.Y.) Danjuma once said , in December 2019 ,: that “if I reveal what I know about what’s happening in Nigeria, nobody would be able to sleep,” and on several later occasions (and earlier ones) he has publicly urged Nigerians to “rise up” or “defend yourselves” because government alone cannot protect communities.

Exactly my thought. Trump and some element of destruction within the country should be mindful of their usage of words. There is insecurity in certain parts of the country for sure but it’s not affecting Christians alone.
Which prison did your islamic government remand the murderers of Deborah in Sokoto?
You can't keep lying all the time.

If the U.S. wants to carry out any military operation in Nigeria, then they must be prepared to go to war with Nigeria. We should have already expelled every U.S. citizen in this country. Our government is not serious. Money-looting, SUV-driving bunch. This same terrorism is sponsored by the USA. You just have people answering titles in Nigeria who know nothing. Expel U.S. diplomats! The rhetorics from the U.S. government is totally unacceptable.

The United States should assist the Nigerian authorities with better cutting-edge technology to tackle these problems, rather than posing a threat that could further polarise our country.

Someone should remind Kwankwasothat these better cutting edge technology will eventually find its way into the hand of the terrorists as usual, increasing the spate of attack on Nigerians

This is what u have been saying.

Nigeria needs to present a united front. Why? Because Nigeria is a sovereign Nation. It doesn't not make sense to capitulate to another Nation, especially one that doesn't really care about us, dictating what we should do, or else. The moment we allow that, we are finished.

Those groups who feel genuinely aggrieved should use this as a basis to make demands and pressure government, not to throw us under the bus driven by a deranged and tyrannical driver, that does not care about His own citizens talkless of us.

It’s honestly sad how easily many Nigerians are being manipulated by this newly pushed narrative. Yes, Nigeria has serious security challenges — especially in the North — and this has been ongoing for nearly two decades. But the idea that there is a “systematic ethnic or religious cleansing of Christians” is simply not supported by credible, long-term conflict data.

Most terrorism-related casualties in Nigeria have actually been Muslims living in majority-Muslim northern regions. This is well documented. Boko Haram and ISWAP have repeatedly bombed mosques, markets, village gatherings, schools, and highways in Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Zamfara, Katsina, Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi, etc. These are communities that are overwhelmingly Muslim.

Maiduguri is over 90% Muslim. Communities such as Bama, Gwoza, Geidam, Dapchi, Kukawa, Damboa, Magumeri, and others have been attacked countless times — and these are not Christian-majority areas. Even in Kaduna and Plateau, where populations are mixed, both Muslims and Christians have suffered. There is no evidence of a government-backed or nationally coordinated campaign to eliminate any religious group.

This does not mean Christians have not suffered — they have. Every loss of life is tragic. But making it look like Christians are being wiped out while Muslims are “fine” is simply false and erases the suffering of thousands of Muslim victims in the North.

Also — across the South (South-West, South-East, South-South), Muslims and Christians live together peacefully, do business, and attend schools together. If there were a genuine nationwide religious cleansing agenda, this would not be possible.

So why is this new narrative suddenly being amplified now?

Nigeria has been battling terrorism for almost 20 years. Even when Trump was previously in office, the situation existed — yet nobody labeled it “genocide.” But now that Nigeria is seemingly developing more economic independence — especially with the Dangote Refinery reducing reliance on foreign fuel imports — we are suddenly being told there is a “religious emergency.”

Meanwhile, the U.S. is facing massive internal issues: homelessness, inflation, gun violence, failing public health, and economic inequality. Yet we are told their priority is Nigeria’s Christians?

Let’s call it what it is: geopolitical interest, not humanitarian concern.

We must not allow foreign governments or sensational media to weaponize religion to divide Nigerians or justify intervention. The actual problem is terrorism and weak security infrastructure, and it affects all Nigerians, not just one religious group.

They know all these things that terrorists dont know xtians or muslims. Its not their intent to fight for any Xian or muslim, they are just pursuing their century long agenda of forcing nations to toe their policies. Remember Nigeria is romancing with Russia, China, BRICS etc. We are signing currency swap with China for trade settlement instead of using dollar. Nigeria just voiced out against the Israel genocide in Palestine. all this will come at a cost. It has been their modus operandi centuty-long.

Just shows how in a second we all could lose it all.......

All lives matter. We all have seen pictures and videos of killed Muslims and Christians......

But this sudden agenda to not fight the terror but to divide the country and to kill all its members, because we have seen how they have "helped" other oil producing countries..

To be so open as to wish further harm on a country without bringing any sort of solution.

No counter terrorism expertise or support but to openly declare war on a SOVEREIGN nation shows their intent.

President Trump is also a master strategist like president Tinubu. He can't do jerk. He is only trying to create unnecessary attention and attraction to himself since our government has refused to cowtoe him.

He made thise empty trade threat with China. The smart china government ignored him, now he is junketing for bilateral meeting with china. Narcissistic like Trump hate being ingnored. They want to bully at all cost. If this does not worth, they issue empty threat to make you cone to them cap in hand. That is exactly his strategy.

He has not completely healed from our government refusal to accspt criminals he wanted to deport from uS prisons.

Nigerian government should ignore him and rev up his efforts at combating the terrorist. They can look for help elsewhere, probably china and Russia.

You and your entire generation will suffer like never before. You think if the country divides, your generation will be exempted from the suffering? You think Trump that imprisoned thousands of your so called Christian immigrants in the US for baseless immigration crackdown really have the mindset of a Christian?

Go and ask Libyans, Afganistans, Iraqis that US claimed to be fighting for what they gained from such fights. The persecution of Christians in China is more than it is in Nigeria. Infact pastors are only allowed to preach or operate on government’s directives there, yet your sudden saviour couldn’t go there to help.

There is insecurity in some part of the country no doubt, and it affects everyone irrespective of religion affiliation. Thinking that will be a means to divide the country or grant the wishes of your failed candidate is the peak of stupidity.
