Nobody In His Right Senses Should Deny Killings Of Christians—Northern CAN Clarifies Trump’s Threats

According to a report by Leadership on Monday, November 3, 2025, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the 19 Northern states has appealed to the federal government to take stronger action against terrorism and insecurity across the country.

The association’s chairman, Reverend John Joseph Hayab, said this while reacting to the recent statement made by US President Donald Trump about violence in Nigeria.

Hayab clarified that Trump’s statement should not be viewed as a threat against Nigeria, but as a message urging the country to confront terrorism more seriously.

He noted that some people misunderstood the intention, explaining that the concern was about ending the activities of violent groups rather than attacking the nation itself.

He pointed out that the killing and persecution of Christians in the North are undeniable and have drawn the attention of world leaders.

He mentioned that international lawmakers, including members of the US Congress, have already taken steps to discuss the worsening insecurity in Nigeria.

According to Hayab, Trump’s involvement shows that the global community is worried about the situation.

He urged the Nigerian government to prove it can solve its own problems by acting decisively against the perpetrators of violence.

He added that Nigeria should not wait for foreign powers to step in before protecting its citizens.

Hayab expressed sadness over the deep division along religious lines in the country.

He said many Nigerians quickly accuse others of betrayal whenever they support peace or fairness across faiths.

He warned that such thinking fuels hatred and prevents national unity.

“Nobody in his right senses should deny that there are killings of Christians in Northern Nigeria. Nobody in his right senses should deny that there is persecution and maltreatment of Christians in Northern Nigeria,” he said.

It's an ETHNIC war

That nobody is brave enough to go the core north to report the killings does not mean it's not happening.

Did Northern CAN clear this with Bishop Kukah, Tinubu's appointee, before releasing this statement?

Unfortunately, most people in this country are not in their right senses. 😁
They see White and say it is Black, just because of Tribalism.

The revelations from this Christian genocide situation would reveal the real men of God in this country, there would be an eye opening all over the country and a new Christian revival.

The true believers would see the money grabbing , fake pastors for who they really are and would turn away from their churches in large multitudes and go towards the truth men of God who speak the truth despite their small congregations.

The days of pastors manipulating their members while dinning with the presidency and drinking tea with God is over.

The time of old pastors who worship money and have been silent during this genocide is over.

Nobody in his right sense should also deny the killing of Muslims in Zamfara, Katsina, Kebbi and Borno.

Solemn truth ever spoken. God judgement will visit all the liars, deceptive people and propagandists that mock everyone Nigeria has ever lost to this carnage.
