Don't mind those talking out of ignorance . If you provide water for pigs, they can bath all through the day . I experimented with one and I couldn't believe what I saw . I have to drain the water when I saw how the feets were becoming whiter and whiter by day as a result of staying in water for days

They are considered unclean because of their propensity to host harmful parasites and not because of their physical hygiene. We can say all animals are dirty, but where the dangerous tape worms for example are associated with pigs, catfishes are NOT known to host them.

Tape worms in pigs are called Teania solium, while cows have Taenia saginatta. All of them transmissible to humans if both meat are mot properly cooked. So what else do you want to tell me?

That's not true. Pig is one of the cleanest animal in the world and also one of the most intelligent too. People perceive them as dirty because they roll in gutters, dirty water or mud water. The reason why they do that is because they don't have sweat glands. Thay do that to cool off heat

Because the pigs I used to see are dirty.
But when I started seeing clean ones, nobody gave me. I don't know how to cook it. If a good cook gives me, I will eat. Not regularly, but I will tick it off my food bucket list.

Since pigs do not have sweat glands they are very hot. Naija climate is very humid. They can rub their body anywhere to cool off.

They roll in dirty water or gutter because their owners do not provide clean water for them to roll in or even bath them.
I once saw a big pen where the owner build one small swimming pool and there is this way he will make the pigs climb on top of something and then enter a long half ope tube and then slide into the swimming pool. The farmer said that is how to they cool thei body. While they are out, their pen is cleaned.
