Is the Nigerian government not negotiating peace deals with bandits who have annexed vast swathes of territory, running their armed forces and collecting taxes in broad daylight.

This country is already split, having dual ownership. In another part of West Africa. The capital of Mali, Bamako is presently cut off from the rest of the country, surrounded completely and besieged by Jihadists who have cut off supplies of gasoline.

You think the US will sit by and watch an important country such as Nigeria fall to insurgents who will be emboldened to spread terror across the west coast if Mali falls.

You better tell your Commander-in-Chief that the clock is ticking. He better get off his political play acting and start the hard business of governance or else someone else will do it for him.
