Peter Obi would have kept quiet if Reno Omokri had not called him out

Peter Obi secretly hates Nigeria
Now y'all can agree that until Obi speak, APC government will not react.

During times like this during goodluck's pdp tenure tinibu and buhari led apc leaders to the white house to instigate the US against nigeria the US even later banned goodluck pdp govt from arms purchase to fight bokoharam terrorists but today they are hypocritically calling for the same opposition to support them can you imagine? Am sure the apc would have openly supported US airstrikes on nigeria if they were not in power today obi and other opposition figures are just too gentle and calm.

He sounded just like a real politician.

He neither admitted there are purported attacks directed at Christians, nor did he deny it.

Smart statements, but lack the courage that I look forward to seeing in a leader I'm going to vote for.

I don't do politics of deceit.
He has always been a coward

I'm delighted Peter Obi did not fall into a trap. I'd have had to start looking for a new candidate to support.

He's been even smarter than non-politician me suggested!
Your candidate just followed and copied his boss Atiku. No spine as usual, just on the fence.

He is so damn scared to offend the North. He can’t even mention the word “Christian” in his on the fence post.

I’m sure his supporters will be sad that their leader lack balls.
Lol. You never were one to cry. When did this start?

Acknowledge that he spoke well and move on.

I am disappointed in Peter Obi with this kind of speech. When fate hands you an atomic bomb, freely use it to decimate your enemies.
We all know what Tinubu and the APC would have done in this situation if tables turned.

"While the insecurity did not start with the present government, what is most unfortunate is the lack and absence of competence, commitment, prudent use of resources, patriotism and passion on the part of the APC-led government/leaders to effectively govern, galvanize and lead Nigeria where no one is unwarrantedly oppressed and killed, a Nation where peace, truth and justice reign!
Yes ooo That means there is a Christian GENOCIDE.

You guys are really very lucky that obi doesn't play dirty bitter politics like apc leaders if the reverse where to be the case am very sure ur apc leaders would have definitely supported the invasion if it were to be peter obi the president of nigeria.

Panama invasion: The US operation that ousted Noriega

The invasion came by sea, air and land. Thousands of US troops descended on Panama, seeking to unseat its de facto leader and bring him to Miami to face drug charges.
It was 20 December 1989, and the once close relationship between General Manuel Noriega and the US had deteriorated to the point of no return.
In an address to the nation, then President George H W Bush said he had ordered military forces to Panama to "protect the lives of American citizens" and bring Noriega "to justice".
The announcement came days after Panamanian forces killed an American serviceman. At the time, Noriega was also facing a US indictment for drug-trafficking, as well as claims he had rigged a 1989 election.
Operation Just Cause, as it was dubbed by the US, saw more than 20,000 US troops invade the country and seize control of key military installations.
>>
>>>>

Noriega sought refuge in the Vatican's diplomatic mission. Troops stayed outside over the Christmas period and played deafening rock music to get him to leave in an act of psychological warfare. Songs by The Clash, Van Halen and U2 were among those played.

Noriega surrendered on 3 January 1990, after spending 11 days at the embassy.
He was then flown by US Drug Enforcement Administration officials to Miami to stand trial, and ultimately found guilty of drug trafficking, racketeering and money laundering.

Noriega spent the rest of his life in custody - first in the US, then France and finally under house arrest in Panama. He died in 2017, aged 83, as a result of complications from an operation to remove a brain tumour.

How can we be asking for foreign assistance and be rejecting their reports?
Don't misquote PO.
He is totally in agreement with the designation.

He recognized and agreed with the report that APC government from inception has failed woefully to address Nigeria's security problems which has worsened under tinubu clueless government.

But i guess,he prefers bwala and onanuga to say things they like rather than addressing nigerians himself
As long as opposition parties are in disarray, to hell with USA. He will make sure all Republican senators and governors decamp to another party

C'mon! Shouldnt he have commentedhuh!!! If he doesnt talk, complain. He talk, complain. Haba!
I'm not a fan of his at all and I think for an issue of this severity, his comment is rather delayed. However, in his defence, this write-up is what is expected of patriot and leader which he has proven time and again not to be. This time though, Peter Obi, I give your well-deserved credit on this. May God bless every well meaning Nigerian. Politics come and go, Nigeria is all we have.

Has insecurity worsened since Tinubu took office with his corruption, cluelessness and incompetence? Why is he only focused on getting more money by increasing tax burden on Nigerians while neglecting other aspects of governance, including insecurity?

Should he not resign if he has no solution to the crisis?

Yes or No huh

Why I delegated El-Rufai, Ayade, others to answer questions at Chatham House – Tinubu

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has explained why he delegated some members of the party to respond to questions posed to him.
According to the former Lagos Governor, he adopted the delegation method “to show team-ship”.

Tinubu spoke at the Chatham House lecture titled: ‘Nigeria’s 2023 elections: In conversation with Bola Ahmed Tinubu’, monitored by The Nation.

At the lecture, *Tinubu after his opening remarks, assigned Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai to speak on how his (Tinubu-led) government would address insecurity* and asked the Director of Strategic Communication of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Dele Aleke, to respond to the question on oil theft.

Tinubu also delegated a former Commissioner for Finance in Lagos State, Wale Edun, to respond to a question on how he (Tinubu) would boost the economy if elected.
