South African TV Speaks To Tinubu's Adviser, Bwala About US-Nigeria Tensions by RandDigital(op): 9:58pm On Nov 03, 2025

Dr Daniel Bwala, Adviser to the Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, had an interview with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) on Monday evening to discuss the notion of a Christian genocide in Nigeria and Trump's threat of a military intervention.

The host Thembekile Mrototo began by asking for his thoughts on recent developments.

Bwala: Nigeria is "not a hostile country to warrant US military intervention".

The "concept of a Christian genocide is a hoax by a separatist group in Nigeria to create discord in the country".

Bwala was also asked if Nigeria would be able to convince Trump otherwise on 'Christian genocide' when South Africa has so far been unable to dispel false notions of a white genocide in the country.

He responded by saying "Trump is open to dialogue" and has previously adopted "a common understanding" following meetings with different world leaders in the Oval Office.

Asked what credible data the Nigerians have to show Americans that there's no disproportionate or exclusive killings that target Christian communities, Bwala responded by saying "there's no extraordinary data" and that "all data is already out in the open space".

Asked how Nigeria will respond if Trump unilaterally approved military action in the country, Bwala said "there's never going to be a case of military intervention in Nigeria because we know the body language and tactics of President Trump".

Asked if a visit to the White House would ease the tension, Bwala said the South African visit to Trump earlier in the year also achieved that very objective of easing tensions.

Asked if there'll be a meeting between Trump and Tinubu in the coming hours, Bwala said "we reserve our comment, diplomacy requires protocol and we have to respect protocol".

They are now hinging it to a separatist group. We knew it will all culminate to that. Whatever that is not shifted to that part does not exist in Nigeria

You did not do SET in mathematics in school. Go back to school, perhaps you will understand what was done in the map. Brilliant scholars knew what happened in the map

Dr. Bwala representing Nigeria well. We are a sovereign nation and we will address our issues without any foreign interference.

The so-called Christian genocide narrative is a hoax from the separatists.

Bwala really carried diplomatic swagger On this one..

He basically told American "help if you want, but don't come here acting like Rambo in Abuja... grin grin

Nigeria needs support not supervision....

On christian genocide claims,..trump should change it to "widespread Insecurity and terrorism effecting Nigeria"

In short, Calm down, respect our land, and stop flexing your airstrike... grin grin

To be honest, I do not support Nigeria government for sponsonring the killing of her citizens, however, Nigeria will never get geniue help from international communities. To start with, why did they create Nigeria in the first place, country with unsuited people, this was done so that we will not be able to speak with one tongue.

The only help they can render is to undo the evil they created by mandating NIgeria government to conduct memorandum. Invading Nigeria and turning it to afghanistan or Gaza is not want we want as a people. The evil done to be the people of West Africa and Central Africa by the international powers is enough.

Nigeria government/politicians are your enemy, so is the international power that control the current world order.

It’s a shame Nigeria has been reduced to this in just how many years. A nation that once commanded respect is now constantly on the defensive, explaining away insecurity and killings instead of addressing them decisively. When leadership fails to uphold justice and accountability, perception becomes reality, and that’s exactly where we are today.

Was it a hoax by separatist groups when Tinubu was saying same thing 11 years ago ?? 🤡🤡

Bwala is really doing well. I watched his interview on Russian Tv yesterday and it was excellent. Now I see why President Tinubu went all the way to bring him back to APC as his special adviser on policy communications. He should be deployed to CNN, Fox News and other American tv stations to help correct the false narrative and reshape the opinion of American about Nigeria.
Re: South African TV Speaks To Tinubu's Adviser, Bwala About US-Nigeria Tensions by Jeffchibunna4(m): 8:38am On Nov 04, 2025
President Trump and the US did not say they want to overthrow the government, they said they want to flush out the terrorists and stop the on-going genocide, so why is the FG bothered?

I wholeheartedly endorse a United States Military intervention in eradicating terrorism, stopping the genocide, systematic landgrabbing and two-tier policing happening in Nigeria.
...........Yes. This am in support of 🙏🏾

I come in peace

There is nothing like US-Nigeria tensions.
Your house is infested with cockroaches and you are too lazy to do anything about it. Your distant neighbour offers to help you remove them at no cost and you are picking offense. Does it make sense?

i don't understand why Nigerian government is supporting Bandits killing innocent people.

Since the past decade you have not done much against this Bandits, all of a sudden you don't want Trump to kill criminal elements?

It says a lot.

No US intervention, even on the table. We dont need it. And nobody is taking the option of even considering it.
Re: South African TV Speaks To Tinubu's Adviser, Bwala About US-Nigeria Tensions by kgr8mike(m): 8:41am On Nov 04, 2025
The killings in Nigeria is just too much. Few years ago it was not like that until these same set of politicians decided to invite demons into the country in their quest for power.

So we just need to cast out devils and that's what Christians do and so that's why Trump is coming.
Re: South African TV Speaks To Tinubu's Adviser, Bwala About US-Nigeria Tensions by Positiveminds(m): 8:42am On Nov 04, 2025
Which separatist group is this buffon talking about? There has been systematic annihilation of Christians in the country over the years. That's fact.
