Ever since I started my journey towards understanding the country's root problem, I've always been a proponent for restructuring or division of the toxic entity called Nigeria as a lasting solution that will give the people a chance to prosper. What do Nigerians gain from waking up daily to insult themselves over tribe? They hate, kill and backbite themselves constantly just to defend their tribal/religious agendas against others in the same country. Why are the people not ready to let go of this unprogressive, unproductive, divisive and toxic union that only fosters destruction, hatred and division. An environment where the majority are only after their own tribal/regional/religious agendas, they can't trust or accept others outside their tribe/region. Fulani muslim northern people want islamic country through a bloody conquest and see their jihadist brothers as freedom fighters, yoruba south western people want the federal power to remain with their son Tinubu for another 4 years before they can start their agitation for Oduduwa nation, while Igbo south eastern people want Biafra as they appear to be the only ones that are ready to leave the toxic union now since they have nothing to gain at the national level. As a result of these foundational conflict of interests, many continue to perish, Nigeria's situation keeps getting worse as none of these groups care about salvaging Nigeria. How long will the self-inflicted violence, injustice and pain continue before the people accept the undeniable truth that they can never prosper or experience lasting peace in an unjust cosmetic union? When will Nigerians rise up to push for the total restructuring or division of this country? Nigeria can not work and will never work because of a foundational problem, majority of the people from each region are too sectional, hopelessly tribalistic, they don't share the same tribal, religious and cultural values. |

There is nothing to solve, you can not force a deceitful union to work. For the people to make any meaningful progress, Nigeria needs to be divided or totally restructured. ebukal67x: |

truthera:Then start by relocating to your region, or voting in new leaders from your place who share same sentiment with you |

Voting won't solve the problem and you know this. It will require a national movement by the people that will usher in a new decentralized system of governance or creation of new countries. Nigerians can not escape the impending doom if this is not done. garykoeman: |

The vocal Yorubas are indeed qaiting for uncle yekini to finish before resuming the ronu exercise. Ijaw is waiting for their hausa brethren to snatch power ab give them a share. Tiv have been distributed into many states so don't have the will to pull reaources across state lines. Fulani are masters of the game anyday anytime. |

Nigeria is a prison, the British that created it for their own selfish reasons never consulted the people of each region to ask them what they want. Azikiwe and co who had the opportunity to reverse it failed. How can a people whose agendas requires them to work against themselves build a progressive nation? It is not too late to end the disaster called Nigeria. CodeTemplarr: |

truthera:USA can't come to fight terrorists without touching Biafra to fight number 10 terrorist organization in the world because they are also killing christians and kidnapping reverend sisters. USA has zero pity for terrorists. Only south west may be exempted from bombing because they have history of stability and as most peaceful they know in Nigeria. Most refugee camps maybe built in south west because from north and east will likely run to south west as USA fight with terrorists in both north and east |

So according to you, it's okay for USA to release bombs in the north and south east regions as long as the south west is excluded? Can you see that you are a testament that validates my stance about dividing or restructuring the country. I am certain this your view is been shared by several of your tribesmen in south west. It's so bad that you are not even sympathetic to the fact that in the event of a USA military invasion, so many innocent lives will be lost, I guess it will give you joy as long as they are i-gbos or hausa/fulani victims. I won't blame you per say for your callous utterance because the forced toxic prison called Nigeria brings out the animousity, hatred and selfish sentiments of Nigerians.... sreamsense: |
