Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was in charge of Nigeria for 16 years 1999-2015

In 2013, some opposition leaders claimed PDP has failed Nigerians and they promised to bring positive change to the country. They merged together and formed the All Progressives Congress (APC) which has been the ruling party since 2015.

Having experienced both parties, which one in your estimation is better in terms or reforms, security, economy and so on?

APC is better than PDP.

APC is currently in power and they are doing their best to fix the mess left by PDP.

I will rate APC higher than PDP if we are to rate based on the same criteria.

They are pretty much the same. A lot of former PDP are also in APC.

Electricity rarely goes off for more than 5 minutes per day in my area.

Sometimes, a whole week, there is no power outage. Maybe it goes off when I am asleep, but I doubt it.

From election violence, to brazen and unprecedented corruption, to economic incompetence, PDP is worse than APC.

Please does anyone have an update on the more $2 billion allegedly stolen by a Petroleum minister under Mr Jonathan's kokokoro eyes. Perhaps she can send some back to us. Nigeria needs it.

Despite crude oil prices being some of the highest ever with Nigeria raking in unprecedented amount of money under Mr Jonathan, the money was squandered, stolen, and mismanaged. 8 months before Mr Jonathan left office, Mrs Okonjoeweala declared to a stunned and crestfallen nation that all the money was gone and there was no money to pay salaries.

Nigeria has not recovered since then.

I will pick PDP. Most of the things APC was accusing PDP of then, APC is doing worse now

Both parties are the same. Its just a matter of time, we will be back to PDP.

I will pick APC over PDP. The same PDP that shamelessly depleted our foreign reserve from $45billion to $28billion despite selling crude at well above $100 per barrel and we were doing almost 2million barrels per day? For good 16years PDP could not fix Lagos- Ibadan express way and 2nd Niger bridge was also a mere promise. As 'bad' as people potray APC,they have delivered capital projects more than PDP,foreign reserve is hovering over$43billion, financial obligations to regional bodies are being fulfilled,our economy is being opened for investments. Price of a bag of rice isn't the only thing that determines how healthy an economy is.
