Seems Airtel has increased their subscription fee o. There isn't the option of 50mbps for 25k nor 100mbps for 45k again. We now have the rates the old 5g router displayed. Who else notice this?

I can confirm that the ZTE variant does not experience that thing with the network going bad after disconnecting from electricity.

When folks were complaining about said problem, I was like "what is he talking about" because I didn't experience the problem even without electricity, then came Friday last week till last night before I figured it was the lack of electricity causing it

I just figured out that the ODU router (ZLT brand) signal range isn't as widespread as the X25 pro.

Can anyone recommend any good WiFi extender

Yeah, because the power pack is more solid than that of the ZLT.

Maybe that's what's causing it. So the manufacturer made the device with a power bank that is underpowering it.

Absolutely, I have to powered the IDU with a separate 12v adaptor so that the ODU can have full power!

The ZTE is a superior device compared to the ZLT. The problem is that Airtel didn't include its own IDU, probably to save cost. So they install it with a slightly inferior IDU...but that will not matter since the data is capped.

Since last night I was having good speed from my speedtes but my videos were buffering, some websites won't open. It happened till this morning. Then I decided to use VPN, immediately everything worked perfectly. I disconnected the VPN to test if the network became better on its own but without the VPN I was having same issue. VPN seems to have solved my problem. Let's see how it goes

My 5G Airtel router stopped connecting to internet this morning, it was working yesterday... Imy unlimited data is still active........has anyone experienced this, any fix for it?

The simple option is to wait for the subscription on the ZLT to expire, then instead of renewing you go to their office to buy the new ZTE device.

It’s basically the same 25k, same as the renewal fees.

The stock is sold out in most of Airtel shops. They're only restocking the ZLT for now.

Just realized that my whole problem is down to the UPS not being connected to electricity causing the problem. My light gets rationed so I have to rely on the UPS which for whatever reason affects the network speed and connectivity if it's not connected to electricity

Getting consistent 50+Mbps since light is restored and I connected everything to the ODUs UPS via electricity. I was using the x25 pro's UPS to power the IDU without running it via electricity.

Exactly. I have since realised this. The ups alone cannot power the Zlt without electricity. Immediately, there's electricity outage in my house, the network will go off, but with electricity, i get maximum speed.
My luck is that electricity is super good in my area.

But then, a friend's Zlt device stay connected to internet with consistent speed whether there is electricity or not and the battery last longer than mine.

Na your area oo... Mine is blazing with 60Mbps even though my subscription is 50Mbps ❤️

I guess you are new to Airtel router. So far your subscription is still active, your only solution is to be putting the router ON and OFF until it work again.
