This man has said it all. Some people will just deliberately misquote and misinterprete someone's statement. |

EDGEof2MORO:Take a look at what happened in Niger, Mali, Burkina faso and nearly all former French colonies. They have severed ties with France. It was said that their reserves were stored in Paris. They were entitled to only a fraction of their resources as the other was supposedly being saved up for them by France. Its such a shame that France, would still be practicing such imperialism in this century with impunity. Only if these countries had direct assess to their resources all these years, they would be more developed. My point? Unlike these countries, Nigeria has largely had assess to its resources since 1960 at least. The British cared enough, even more than France to leave us with our resources. They cared more than France. What have we done with the resources 65 years since independence? Needless to say, we have squandered the proceeds without utilizing them for development. Now, oil prices are dwindling, the country cannot sustain only on oil because of massive corruption of the highest level. Who do you want to blame as to why we always need to borrow money? Who do you want to blame that Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world? Who do you have to blame that more than 52,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria in the past 20 years? Our problem is not caused by USA or Britain...but our greed, nepotism, and wickedness. Whatever the world power does, they do for their benefit. We should've also done things for our benefit too, but we haven't. We have run Nigeria like a business to benefit the elites and the outcome is what we see today. And because we are so stupid, we want to move out of our marriage because our husband cheated, now we are moving into the arms of a married man. You really think Russia and China are better than the USA? Hmm. That's a discussion for another time. But just know its about who dominates who...world powers are jostling to topple each other and they do it at the expense of countries like Nigeria. Its only because we are a paper republic that we are not also a world power - because, Nigeria should, if we had done things to our advantage. |

EDGEof2MORO:Is there anything wrong with my statement? If a leader is incompetent, he should vacate the seat. If you allow Tinubu he will still rig the election 100 times and nothing will happen. He understands how Nigeria is warped. GEJ was removed courtesy of American interference in our election and you loved it. The same reason GEJ was removed is what we are saying concerning Tinubu today. Are you a hypocrite to understand this? The way some of you reason baffles me. It makes me think that there's never going to be hope for Nigeria, because you don't even hide your biased and wicked opinions. |

Good one from CAN. 👍 Nice one I wonder why the terrorists sympathisers are trying to twist the narrative here His message is simple and strait. Stop the killings of our Christian brothers. His message is directed to the Islamic terrorists. Hypocrites everywhere! |

Heffalump:yes there is something wrong with your statement because it tells anyone reading it that you believe America is in charge of our electoral system and will block any candidate they do not like. So what happens if America wants me to become the president (as you no like me), what will you do? |

EDGEof2MORO:Like it or not, America is the police of this world. I believe this influence is from God. They stabilize the world politics for a reason. Go and ask Obasanjo, he had to step in to convince America that Buhari was a Democrat before he was accepted in 2015,when it was perceived all over the world that Jonathan has failed politically. Hate it or like it, America is the greatest world power. To become a president in Nigeria, you must need a world power backing you. Tinubu, your lord knows this facts too well, hence his frolicking with Macron of France. Your opinion doesn't change anything. If a leader has failed he should step aside. That's the main point. |

Middleborn:you are almost there, at least you acknowledge their self-serving interests. Now, what makes you think they are coming to Nigeria out of the kindness of their hearts? Remember Nigeria was banned from purchasing critical military hardware that would have been instrumental in keeping these criminals in check by these same world powers. Maybe some of you were not born at the time or were too young to understand what was happening |

EDGEof2MORO:Do you know that during Trump's first term in office, Buhari visited the white house to sign bilateral agreements between Nigeria and the USA, and Donald Trump told him just before they signed the agreement to "stop the killing of Christians". There was a video in circulation regarding that. Trump went ahead to designate Nigeria a CPC, but the democrats delisted Nigeria afterwards. The US government have documented so well the killings of the Christian population in the North for years. So when i hear the "they're interested in our resources" claim, i know it is a leftist agenda. America has much more oil reserves than Nigeria, in fact the rare earth materials that we might be scared that America wants from us, we have a measly 13,000 metric tons, while the US is 45,000 metric tons. During the kidnap of the Chibok girls, the white house sent some troops to rescue the girls. Theses troops worked with the Nigerian military. They told the Nigerian military the plan - deploy poisonous gas on the bandits and then rescue the girls. Do you know that when the troops surrounded the terrorists, they discovered that the terrorists had gas masks on? It was after that occasion that the US have continued to refuse working with the Nigerian Army, because of trust issues. This clearly shows that they know that the terrorists are in the Nigerian government. Even some of the weapons sold to Nigeria to fight the insurgents have been found with the terrorists...how will the US not ban Nigeria from buying weapons? My anger is directed against those Nigerians who keep saying that there is no Genocide in Nigeria, when we know that there is an islamization agenda in Nigeria. The insurgents are spreading down south and we seen the casualties they leave behind. What religion do the citizens in the middle belt and south practice? Christianity. Would it be false, then if anybody say there is a genocide against Christians? No. There is a phrase found in the book of these fulani jihadist. they vowed to conquer, "until they deep their Koran in the atlantic." This is because all the lands down to the atlantic is theirs as told to them by their father Usman Danfodio. These things i say are actually true and you think the US doesnt know them? So my brother, there is a deliberate and systematic killing of ethnic minorities of the middle belt and the south and this is for selfish and religious purposes and the Nigerian government, made up of mostly the fulani people are spearheading this killing. The US government have been documenting it for years - go to jihadwatch.org |

EDGEof2MORO:The Nigerian government has never declared Boko Haram a terrorist organisation. So why have they agreed to America's support to fight them.? Very fishy. The government knows and funds the terrorists Many foreign nationals have called the Nigerian government a terrorist organization, just like Cuba, North Korea, Iran and Syria. The terrorist are funded through the Nigerian financial system, there's no way the Nigerian government cannot freeze their funds, but have they done so? No. There is no way the government cannot close down on their hideouts and crush them. Have they done so? No. Now we have all manner of insurgents - Bokoharam, ISWAP, Lakurawa etc. It's simple, the government is the terrorist. So why should they be given weapons of mass destruction? It will end up been used on innocent people, as has been seen. |
