Kilishihunter:Yeah they’re not up and running, which is a bad thing cause they can turn up at the business end of the season, they don’t need to sweat too much to win their league and they don’t even care about it like that they’ll want to win more than one UCL before Enrique gets bored |

nateevs:Maresca is not bad na, winning the CWC in a dominant way with a team of youngsters should have made people sit up to recognize him and after all it's still the same possession football he too plays, I think he just needs better recruitment in your defence |

Kilishihunter:How many times will I have to repeat this, whether you all believe it or not, it remains a fact. A coach is defined by the quality of players he manages. If your squad is filled with subpar players, as a coach , you will naturally look like an average coach. But if you have a team packed with superstars, you will be seen as a top coach. No manager can perform miracles with bang-average players. Put Kompany back in charge of Burnley, and he still won’t make the top six in EPL. But let him continue as a Bayern’s coach, and I can tell you he will win 7 Bundesliga titles out of 10 seasons. that’s just football reality. |

andrewbaba44:Just say you didn’t watch the game. Liverpool parked bus for most of the first half, had 40% possession 5 minutes before the end of the half and Madrid had 100 more completed passes. Liverpool would’ve been in big trouble had Vini been on his game. “Collecting midfield” must mean something else in your home town. 😄 |

Defence wins you titles. A look at Arsenal and the good positions they've found themselves in the league and Europe so far, will only help you understand the above claim better. One goal conceded from open play and three in total in 10 PL games. While they're yet to concede in the Champions League. A goal or two is enough to get the job done and have the shop locked. They don't need to chase the game, trying to outscore you as some dumb attacking football proponents here will make their dumber followers believe. It's an assassin-ish. They don't even need a 30-goals a season CF to run you down, the system is designed to produce any scorer at anytime. It's always pragmatism over fantasism.
