I think @Sojee later got enlisted. @Sikowitz is doing excellently well with the UK correctional service @Ugo4u still pushing other endeavours.

If army HQ are actually serious, they'll reduce this their age restrictions in subsequent applications. That 27-28 max is very silly.

Do you have to type it you you select it??

I saw someone post somewhere that you'll opt for another local government or so then edit it after saving before submission.

I'll look for it and share just to be on the safe side.

I applied successfully without any issue the day the application opened. Could be a site or network issue.

Gentlemen, another tragedy. NA has lost a second Brigadier to the war on terror. It is a painful loss yet again.

Nigerian Army Directs Successful DSSC Candidates To Report March 27

The Nigerian Army has instructed all DSSC 29/2026 successful candidates to report for DSSC training on Friday, March 27, 2026. The directive was issued in an official public announcement released by the Nigerian Army authorities.

According to the announcement, candidates who made the Nigerian Army DSSC list are required to report to the Officer Cadet Training Wing of the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) located in Jaji, Kaduna State, where the DSSC training programme will take place.

The Nigerian Army also confirmed that the full list of DSSC 29/2026 successful candidates has been published on the Nigerian Army DSSC recruitment portal (see link in the comments section below) where applicants can verify their names and obtain further instructions regarding the DSSC training exercise.

Nigerian Army DSSC 29/2026 Training Date and Venue

DSSC 29/2026 successful candidates are expected to report for DSSC training as scheduled below:

1. Programme: Nigerian Army DSSC 29/2026 Officer Cadet Training

2. Reporting Date: Friday, 27 March 2026

3. Venue: Officer Cadet Training Wing, Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI), Jaji, Kaduna State

4. Nigerian Army DSSC recruitment portal: Nigerian Army official recruitment website (see link in the comments section below)

Failure to report on the stipulated date may lead to automatic forfeiture of the candidate’s slot, which may then be allocated to candidates on the reserve list.

Items Required from DSSC 29/2026 Successful Candidates

The Nigerian Army has provided detailed guidelines on items dssc 29/2026 successful candidates must bring to the DSSC training camp. Some of the required materials include:

1. Writing materials

2. Original academic credentials and printed application documents with passport photographs

3. Plain white round-neck vests and royal-blue shorts

4. White canvas trainers

5. Tracksuits, shirts, trousers, and socks

6. Black cover shoes and a rubber-strapped wristwatch

7. Swimming trunk

8. Two white bedsheets and pillowcases

9. One blanket (grey or army green colour)

10. Football boots and a pressing iron

Female dssc 29/2026 successful candidates are required to come with additional items such as lounge skirts, tight shorts, and trouser suits.

Serving military personnel who were shortlisted must also present official release letters and passes issued by their commanders or commanding officers.

Important Notice for Reserve Candidates

The Nigerian Army clarified that candidates placed on the reserve nigerian army dssc list should not report to the DSSC training venue unless they are officially contacted. The Nigerian Army noted that reserve candidates may only be invited if vacancies arise as a result of withdrawal or disqualification of selected candidates.
