No. We don't forgive easily. We just hate accountability, and it goes both ways for oppressors and the oppressed. When an African is oppressed, he let's go knowing that in the not-too-distant future he/she will also be in a position to oppress others and will also enjoy the "right" of having the oppressed let go. Ours is a cycle of oppressors and the oppressed. Bad men go out there and oppress good women, after a divorce or several heart breaks she oppresses the next good man. Parents oppress their children, who grow up to have families to oppress. Citizens spend years under the thumb of oppressive leaders, and when they become rich and powerful they join politics for the sole purpose of oppressing others. This is why Africa has no legacy to leave behind. We are a nation of oppressors and the oppressed.

Your philosophy doesn’t support human nature. People don’t need to be perfect humans to be good employees. You’re a good employee if you can follow the rules of the job and do what you signed up to do.

That’s the same thing with being in government. Just do your job, the one you signed up for. We all agreed that if the citizens break the law, the leaders punish them, and if the leaders break the law, they’re no longer qualified to be there.

If you can’t enforce the law, don’t sign up to be the law enforcement officer.
