Benue Monarch Urges Trump To Expedite Action On Military Threat by ogododo(op): 6:28pm On Nov 06, 2025
DAILY POST reports that about 200 persons were massacred when suspected Fulani gunmen invaded Yelwata in June 2025.

Jor welcomed Trump’s ‘US military action threat’ while speaking with journalists in Makurdi on Thursday.

He concurred with Trump that there is ongoing killing of Christians in Nigeria.

According to him, “the attack on his domain as well as other attacks in Benue State were carried out by Muslim terrorists”.

Jor appreciated the US President for coming to the aid of Christians in Nigeria and urged him to expedite action.

According to him, “the situation remains dire as killings go on almost daily with many villages sacked and occupied by the terrorists”.

He expressed sadness that original inhabitants are now taking refuge in Internally Displaced Persons ,IDPs, camps across Benue State.

Nigeria is a sovereign nation and we don't need any foreign military intervention.

Those calling for it should have a rethink. We have our own ways of solving our problems.

Our own way has not been able to solve the problem over the years.
Just like Buhari that declared "an Attack on Boko Haram is an Attack on the North", majority of Northerners are apólógists of BH.

So anyone who genuinely wants the fight BH must be ready to step on the toes of Northerners.
And of course we all know that Tinubu is never ready to step on their toes.

May you experience the fate of people who were victims of banditry/terrorism. The federal government of Nigerian have failed in it's utmost responsibility of securing lives and properties. While blood are being spilled, the irresponsible leader was busy traveling the globe. If not for the Trump's proclamation, he could have longed traveled for his monthly health check up in Paris

True Sovereignty Lies In The Safety And Dignity Of The People.

Sovereignty resides with the people.

When the state, the government of the day fails to protect its citizens, the people have the legitimate right to seek assistance and to raise their voices over the ongoing killings, maimings, kidnappings, and the destruction of villages and towns being carried out by terrorists and bandits.

You should have advised Buhari and Apc not to have brought foreign bandits to Nigeria in 2015. Did we just become a sovereign nation today?. If you were living in an IDP camp with your relations missing you won't remember any word called sovereign nation. Your first priority would have been survival.
