We’ve been here since 2005. Tomorrow, we will debate over pointless matters which went viral. We will start next year doing so and continue into many years later. Why? It’s a waste of time to me. |

If you think so. Most of the political conversations in Nigeria always start on NL. If you can analyse your points without being rude or aggressive, your narration will have the upper hand in other social media. For example now, the christian persecution story, those of us who don't believe in the story have been able to prove our points by asking questions the narrators can't answer |

Debates and arguments both online and offline achieve nothing. One party just stops talking when they lack points. They'll go home thinking of more points and come back when they have more. It's a waste. The two opinions are already carved in stone. Arguments are only profitable in court, or agenda creation. |

helinues:So, we’ll keep doing this without anything to show for it? Only if you have an idea about some suggestions some members of this forum have made which the people in government has acted accordingly to itTwo of the biggest lies I hear about this platform: 1. There is money made daily on Nairaland. This is a lie. People only get scammed. The many cars being sold here are cheap scams. You see the people involved report the matter a few days later. That’s where you see moderators perform their only work of hiding and deleting the threads. 2. Our discussions make the country better. This is delusion at its worst. I’ve seen how this forum’s members look. If anything, government officials will only laugh at their suggestions and carry on with life. They’ve been here for twenty years, their lives still remain the same. Now, provide me a list of these so-called plans Nairaland members drew and the government acted on. |
