Those kinds of move are a waste of time today and America, of all Nations, will be aware of this. BUA Refinery in Akwa Ibom should be completed and functional next year.

The Gasoline Associates International (GAIL) refinery in Ogun State is another addition.

Sales of our Government refineries to private sector players is under consideration. The planned trajectory of future development of the oil sector of Nigeria will see us become sellers and exporters of refined derivatives of crude. Like Singapore.

This is something no one, let alone the USA, can stop. Targeting Dangote Refinery is not an option because the current plan for our oil sector is it's optimal development by the private sector.

Since Dangote, though powerfully eminent for now, is not the only player from the Private sector seeking involvement in our oil refining sector, targeting his refinery is not a workable plan to permanently destabilise Nigeria through sabotage of her oil industry.

Dangote Refinery belongs to Aliko Dangote and his partners. No one has ever claimed that it belongs to Lagos State or Oduduwa Asset.
