Major General Waidi Shaibu

Born 18 December 1971 in Olamaboro Local Government Area, Kogi State, Nigeria.

He entered the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in 1989 as a member of the 41st Regular Course.

He was commissioned on 17 September 1994 as a Second Lieutenant into the Nigerian Army Armoured Corps.


Education

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the NDA.

Post-graduate credentials include:

A Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration (Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration)

A Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Calabar.

A Master’s in Strategic Studies from the University of Ibadan.

A Master’s in Security & Strategic Studies from the National Defence University, Washington D.C., USA.

Don't understand what you're saying. have a question for you: Will you call an igbo man born and raised in Kano, who speaks fluent Hausa, a Hausa man? He is even closer to being a Hausa (cos he speaks and understands Hausa) than the Angwa residents in Igala land. These people are culturally and linguistically Igalas.
