Despite receiving billions of Dollars in military assistance, Nigeria has failed to curb k+llings or safeguard Christians — U.S. lawmaker alleges United States lawmaker Riley Moore, who chairs President Donald Trump’s investigative committee on alleged k+llings of Christians in Nigeria, has criticised the Nigerian government for failing to justify the significant military assistance it has received from Washington. In an interview on the Dinesh D’Souza programme, Moore said Christians in Nigeria were facing what he described as an ongoing “gen+cide,” alleging that the vi%lence has continued “under the radar” with minimal global attention. He expressed concern that despite years of US-funded training, equipment, and security support running into billions of dollars, the Nigerian government has not prioritised the protection of Christian communities. “My brothers and sisters in Christ are being m¥rdered for practising their faith,” he said, accusing both Nigerian authorities and the international community of neglect. Moore warned that if the situation deteriorates further, the United States may be forced to respond. “If we don’t address this and terr+rists take hold in Nigeria, we would have to act one way or another,” he said, stressing that he preferred a cooperative approach with the Nigerian government. He added that the “pieces are already in place” for Nigeria to tackle the vi%lence but insisted that stronger political will was needed. Moore also praised President Trump for his “decisive leadership,” saying he would soon submit a full report to him. Trump recently redesignated Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern,” claiming that Christians are being k+lled on a large scale and warning that the US could cut aid or consider military measures if the att@cks continue. He directed Moore and House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole to immediately review the situation and report back. The Nigerian government has rejected the allegations, insisting there is no targeted gen+cide against Christians and noting that insecurity affects citizens across religious and ethnic lines.

$3.4 billion in last four years. Wooow. No wonder insecurity cannot end. Anything that brings money into the north can never end while that money is flowing in. How come anytime money is being shared, muslims are northern majority, but once it is bullets and violence, Christians become the northern majority? The CPC tag is apt for Nigeria. |

Too much money to loot. Insatiable greed, unbridled bigotry and widespread constitutional corruption and wickedness is their trade mark under this govt. Yet the blamed Jonathan and Sambo Dasuki for the insecurity they created & weaponized in 2012-15. No wonder insecurity is the most profitable business politicians benefit from. Now it is pay back time. |

And the APC liars are saying US wants their resources. US that has more than enough and spends billions of dollars in aid, funds the WHO and other institutions will come to Nigeria, a poor country to collect their resources? If US tells all these people to account for every cent they have received in aid, will they come out clean? Thank God for President Donald Trump, APC have been peeing in their pants since he gave the warning against terrorism. God bless US Department of War God bless President Donald Trump God bless the USA |

mascot87:It is you that is not smart enough. So US government also approved meeting or negotiating with terrorist in open air without any arrest? Or US government also made Nigeria grant amnesty to bandits or even recruit them back to the army? Nigeria failed woefully when it comes to security as those aid were looted as usual nothing came out od it. The US government has done its part and with the purchase of military hardware from fighter jets to drone and all I see no reason why we can eliminate banditry and terrorism once and for all. |

Mrfixitt:They did not stop there They also used the looted funds to purchase arms and ammunition and started the brazen launch of a full scale brutal attack on the rest of the country with the tacit support and approval of federal government. The same people also mercilessly squandered NIRSAL Agric intervention funds under the late PMB admin. |
