laivwire:This refinery has permanently changed the economic history of the SW in a way that you don't seem to see. Inviting a top king to come and see a wonder in his region doesn't hurt anyone. The refinery's impact will be even more once Mr Dangote more than double the refinery's capacity as he plans to. Don't forget too that the future of Nigeria as a single entity is not certain. Mr Dangote will want to maintain good relations with highly influential people in the SW, just in case. That said, the Yorubas don't have a history of confiscating other people's assets. This is not the time for jamboree,this is an individual effort by Dangote,kudos to him.Where lies the national refineries that billions of dollars has been expended on for years and serially looted by people in government,those so called traditional rulers never ever questions the government on it,being the representatives of their people or simply because FG 'greases their hands' but they are shamelessly quick to visit Dangotes refinery. Truths9ja:It's like Dangote Refinery places zero value on Safety. See men in their pot-bellies in such a flammable environment and still not clad in their protective equipment. Same way we have seen in other visits. Dangote Refinery should please adopt international best practices in their Safety measures. And jettison Nigerian-ness in all their operations |

Same refinery that Dunald Drump desperately wants to destroy. Dangote is partly responsible for Nigeria's problem with Dunald Drump for building a state of the art refinery that is competing with western refineries.
