Aalafin of Oyo is a Local Champion.

He disgust most of us that are from Yoruba descent.

Very Haughty Man.

Your hero, not my hero..
We should reduce the ferocity with which we make hero's out of criminals in this country..
Youre likely an underage (GEN Z). Imagine if we had 20 Dangote in Nigeria, who decide to face problem in 20 different sectors of the economy and solve them. Just imagine what would have happened to UNEMPLOYMENT ALONE, before we start talking about the value of Nigeria's currency.
For Dangote to have worked seamlessly with every President of Nigeria, theres something unique about him. Clearly, the people who dislike him are importers, not the ones who want to MANUFACTURE in Nigeria.

Yes, Dangote is my HERO in my the petroleum down stream sector, may be your heros are those who built refineries elsewhere, starch their funds and loots away in the UK and America
Dangote is an international hero. Everybody can't like you. Imagine a man having the balls to stop exportation of petrol for his country. He's the single largest employer of labour in Nigeria. Tens of thousands of employee by one man.

You are clearly the GEN Z here because if you actually know the history of Dangote from the 80s uptil today, the import licences scam, the government helped monopolies, the decade long rice, sugar and floor import waivers, the collusion with different presidents, the destruction of other competitors and the skyrocketing prices, you would know why a lot of people consider him one of the biggest menace tonthe Nigerian economy

God Bless Our Obas, except those who are not ready to keep our Traditional Values.
For example, when an Oba says ' he wants to be an Emir's he should vacate his Seat before too long!
Obas are the true reflection 🪞 of our Cultures and heritage 🧫- Not Political randeviux or Correctness,as some Few Obas are doing Now.

Nigeria is indeed a DISGRACED COUNTRY. 4 National Refineries, none is productive.
Yet Tumbulu is busy with propaganda.
What a shame!

Dangote is the SINGLE LARGEST EMPLOYER OF LABOUR in Nigeria, TENS OF THOUSANDS OF NIGERIAN GRADUATES ARE EMPLOYED across his companies, not someone who made some money and decided to REMAIN AN IMPORTER.

A man who provides QUALITY EMPLOYMENT to Nigerian graduates is A MENACE? You prefer those who will remain IMPORTERS and use their profits to flex their lives and continue to create jobs IN OTHER COUNTRIES through IMPORTATION!!!

Don’t mind them, what even our government failed at, I wish other will do same in power sector,Alex Onyema of Airpeace is trying in the aviation , many refineries in Europe or around the world has lost huge market to Dangote refinery and they aren’t happy about it, it also means less job for them, more employment here, less slaves to wash plate in the UK

He’s doesn’t have hatred’s in his heart against success people, many looters starched their loots away in foreign lands , some buildings refineries elsewhere, remove hate from your heart and thank your hero or don’t buy Dangote fuel, try and import your fuel from Europe

Before now Nigeria is like a man with fish without kitchen, you have to ship your fish to Europe, cook it and bring it back here before you can eat fish, Dangote has stopped that

Celebrate him

Alaafin lo ni ile. Like the Queen is to the British, Alaafin owns the land and Government. He was the Trustee that signed the treaty for formation of both Nigeria and Government.

It was just an oversight tour of his territory.

It’s a shame that lots of wealthy people in this country failed in this course until a hero like Dangote got it done, yet all they do is to criticize him, you all have the resources to go into other sectors and be a game changer like Dangote but you choose to do otherwise
NO, it's because of subsidy

The reason is, government under subsidy was setting the price below what it cost to produce one liter of fuel. So, until last year, anyone wanting to build a refinery would have trobule getting financing because under subsidy, the refinery would run at a loss.

That's why most of our rich people, when they invest in oil sector, prefer to buy one oil well, and sit on it , and earn billons a month, or import fuel. That's also why our NNPC refineries ended up as scrap...government was cutting costs and cutting corners in their maintenance and upgrades...to keep production and by extension subsidy costs low.

Yes, we hear Turn around maintenance. But the thing is, the older the refinery gets, the more difficult it will be to find parts for the refinery. You also don't hear anything about upgrading costs in the over 40 years of subsidy at all. Had there been no subsidy, NNPC would have made enough cash to pay for TAM and crucially UPGRADES when needed.

Dangote took the risk largely because he probably was promised government support...which he got, and also because banks felt more comfortable lending to him, because he had the kind of collateral that made giving him loans for the refinery make sense. He had other lucrative businesses, which is something that other people don't have, even BUA self.

Petrol was cheaper before Dangote refinery, so what are you yapping about?

Take money from your friends at the Central Bank, build a gigantic refinery full of Indian engineers, import Petroleum from abroad with heavy forex, refine and sell at the highest prices around to make heavy profit for yourself and your friends, and a starry eyed Nigerian wants me to applaud to no end?

Get a grip, bro..

All I can say is you are brilliant, even though you didn’t agree with me, your submission made sense, unlike someone that argued without reason, all I’m saying is we should all support him so many others can take such risk and not going to build refinery outside the country and be importing fuel here, some are busy starching fund outside and those funds were later seized.

I will happily say thank you for your submission Sir, this is the kind of brilliant minds Seun need on here, constructive arguments
