Happy weekend, nairaland foodies!!!ππΌππΌ It's another exciting foody weekend again. I don carry another ogbonge interesting food topic come, wey I go like make we talk about. π What is that Nigerian food you have never eaten before, but would like to try? Mine is miyan taushe served with tuwo shinkafa. I watched a northern food blogger prepare miyan taushe and served it with tuwo shinkafa , and I was like "mmm! I can actually eat this if I prepared it myself" Going by the combination of ingredients, I know for sure that it's bound to be delicious. Miyan taushe is a popular northern soup [more like stew] made with pumpkin, groundnuts, any meat of choice, and other ingredients, and it's best served with tuwo shinkafa [rice meal], as suggested by the northern food blogger. Another one I'd like to try out someday is gurasa. Gurasa is more like a flat bread, usually baked in a local clay [vessel] oven. It can be paired with a variety of stuff, depending on your choice. Me, I'd like to try it with yaji and suya. Pictures of gurasa and how it's baked. Nlfpmod, happy weekend to you o. ![]()
