This is an angle we keep telling some people but too dull to understand. It would've been better if the proclamation doesn't carry "Christians genocide, the extremists will see it as a direct condemnation of their faith and subsequently carry out retaliation attack on Christians.

Pentagon in their latest statement has suggested collaboration with Nigeria army in carryout the assignment. US official are not as dumb as some people here, they are very intelligent and know how to conduct themselves withiout causing internal crisis in Nigeria.
