Sell your stocks and keep your money. The balkanisation of the space called Nigeria is near. The amalgamation was a monumental mistake. The sharia north must be left to have their own country.A referendum will be organized for each region to decide. We must never have mass killings constantly in this country.

Now it is Tinubu fault.

If the report had said the market gains the said money, then tah, it can't be Tinubu effort.

Very funny people.
Do u know what CGT means. The government said from Jan 1 2026 for an individual will pay as high as 25% irrespective of when u bought the stock and how much.He wants to loot from investors. And some are running to beat the next yr for it.Then for companies 30%

And so it begins. This is what happens when a government is so totally incompetent. Just last night, Fulani attacked a community on the Benue state border and killed people. Totally unprovoked. That road was blocked for hours by protesters until the army came to clear them out. That same army never bothered going after the killers.

Trump's announcement was unfortunate. He may have meant well. As much as I don't support Tinubu and I think he should be voted out, Trump's announcement has only further emboldened these killers to continue their attacks. They want Tinubu gone by all means and want Trump to strike so that radical Islamists from all over West Africa will come over to Nigeria for jihad.
The beauty of an investment is trending up and down.

There will not be any meaningful recovery if the CGT introduced by this govt. remains. Nobody wants to pay 25% of their gains to a govt that does so little in their lives.

For the fuuls and delusional folks who are happy that the US wants to invade Nigeria to fight against 'christian genocide' this is just a tip of the iceberg of what is going to happen to Nigeria.

Enlightened people saw this coming: values of shares will fall, even Naira will likely fall beyond $2000, Nigerian economy will be bastardised yet nothing will change. Killings will not stop. Insecurity will only get worse. Yes, some 'terrorists' and their leaders will be eliminated but that won't stop terrorism.

Only the northerners and their leaders in collaboration with the security forces can defeat terrorism if they mean business. The US government cannot defeat terrorism in our own soil. They will only end up messing up the country and the economy.

I say No to US interference in Nigeria's domestic affairs because I know nothing good can come out of it.

That you don't know that the price of most stocks had reached their ath and due for market correction after they released their Q3, 2025 last week shows how ignorant you are.

I think this is due to the new law on Capital Gains Tax. People want to reap maximum profit from their investments.

The operation needs to be done. Terrorists see emboldened in this country. While legitimate seperatists are antagonised. An error of a political class.

And when the insurgency is at its peak, the U.S and Trump will abandon Nigeria.

I don’t owe you explanation and you don't need to respond to my post in a rude manner.

Go and work hard first to be able to know that you can't be sitting on billions in profits and not take advantage of other opportunities especially when you hear there's a Nigerian Eurobond in the pipeline.
