Trump says he'll issue $2,000 tariff dividend to all except 'high-income people'
The president says the country is now wealthy because of his tariff policies.

President Donald Trump on Sunday claimed that a “dividend of at least $2000 a person” will be paid to all Americans except for “high-income people,” saying the country is now wealthy as a result of his tariff policies.

“People that are against Tariffs are FOOLS! We are now the Richest, Most Respected Country In the World, With Almost No Inflation, and A Record Stock Market Price. 401k’s are Highest EVER,” the president wrote.

“A dividend of at least $2000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone,” he added.

You can’t compare the value of the money governors used to receive before Tinubu grabbed, snatched, and ran away with power to what they receive today. Yes, they are receiving more in naira terms, but the value of that money has depreciated by over 400 percent.

For instance, before Tinubu assumed office, a kilometer of road could be built for less than 200 million naira Today, under his administration, the same kilometer costs about 1 billion and or more, in some cases, as much as 7.5 billion naira per kilometer, as seen in the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway project.

I don't do this but I just need to, because I do see this lame excuse every where. If truly the presidency really wants to let the people feel the postive impacts of the subsidy removal, the money should have been used directly by the presidency, and not to the state. What happens to using the money to fund some projects, like creating empowerment scheme, in its name, in all states? Or even find a way of sharing it to the people?
