Lol, the same Suárez who said in an interview that Koeman told him over a phone call that he wasn’t part of his plans and had no future at the club 🤣.
Lmao..... You sure say you dey follow Barca that time? 😂😂

Everyone knew that shit was politically motivated by Laporta to push him out cos his wages amidst the damages COVID wrecked on us.

Airbere would have to rest with his agenda tonight cause FDJ was one of the best players on the pitch especially in the second half, he was really good that's why I'm worried on how we're going to face Bilbao without him, pedri and casado on the pitch, maybe we'll have to beg Thiago to come out from retirement to help us

Ive said it countless times that dude need s lot of rest. If na me be Flick I won’t bother him till 25th when we will be facing chel$hit. And still rest him a week or 2 more after that. It was obvious Kounde needed all the rest in this world

All this one na Lamba.
I always find this talk funny when I see peeps saying Lamine doesn't also track back. That's a blatant lie.

Lamine tracks back and help defensively. The only time I'll say Yamal didn't help defensively in progressive games was this past few games where we clearly know he's been battling fitness issues. So I can't fault him when he's not 100%. The same can't be said for Rashford.

I can count more than 3 occasions in the second half where Yamal tracked back to help with the defense at dangerous transitions. There was one where he lost the ball but pursued the player well enough to disturb the player from giving the desired pass and we somehow retrieved the ball back from the opponent. Rashford wouldn't give you that and that's why some fans have issues with him despite his goals and assists. This is another reason why De Jong is always a culprit here.

Yamal also press well too upfront. Combine that with Raphinha's relentless press and runs we're solid.
@emboldened

You mean the same Rashford who tracked back multiple times today and also won possession? At some point, when he was pushed off the ball, he got back up, and immediately won back possession for the team. In the second half, he also chased Zaragoza and successfully blocked the ball. He defended very well on multiple occasions.

Both players have their strengths and weaknesses but it's absolutely wrong to use double standards to judge them. What goes for R, must go for Y.

I can only imagine what people would have said if it was Rashford who missed that one-on-one towards the end of the match and not Lamine Yamal.

Rashy try today Sha,i was shocked to see him tackle that second half,he lost possessions in between, but his overall workrate was ok by me.

Suarez was underperforming.

Remember when he scored against us,he made a celebration mocking Koeman i think.

He'll likely start Vs Bilbao and with Dejong suspended, I feel Eric goes to the middle.

He'll rest for two weeks if Deschamps no play am during the break.

Lol, how many times have Rashford tracked back and helped like he did today. So is it the few occasions he does that you'd use to judge his entire performance.
Bro, the rarity can't be the norm.

Suarez didn't leave because of performance even though he was falling off. Laporte wanted him gone because of his salary(financial wahala) and Koeman was just the fall guy. This was very well documented on goal.com/ESPN then.

Rashford is not good for Barca..

You guys like Rashford because he played for Man U, Man U is not Barca.

You can clearly see the hunger to improve in Rashford. He's not used to this style of play but is adapting well in such a short time.

We keep praising Raphinha for his pressing abilities but people forget that Raphinha gained lots of experience from Marcelo Bielsa who's known for his hard press style especially when he was at Leeds. Raphinha is used to this system and that's why he's flourishing under Flick.

They want him off their hands so bad lol. Don't worry, Deco and Laporte are not that financially reckless like Bartomeu and co even though they bought injury prone Olomo when they had no money with Fermin on board.

I think they'll learn. Don't worry too much...grin

Yes Suarez was underperforming back then (even me dey swear for am back then) but it wasn't the main reason he was booted out. That was exactly the season COVID hit the world and we needed to eliminate much of those massive wages. So Suarez was the perfect victim. After all, he was waning.

Wasn't this the period where there was this talk of "Club De Amigos"? Where Messi's friends played shitty but was guaranteed a stay a cryt the club and playing regular football.

Laporta just used Koeman to push him out in an unceremonious manner since the last coaches didn't have the balls to do so.

It was very well known Suarez was pushed out due to salary and a way to reduce the power of the "Club de Amigos" cabals back then.

It is a noticeable improvement and instead of criticising him, you should be applauding his effort. That's what true fans would do .

Not every player would get two assists, have a hand in another and still decide to track back, but Rashford did that on numerous occasions today.

My only prayer is that this adjustment won't affect his impressive end products because as far as I'm concerned, end products are more important than pressing. Of what use is pressing if after getting the ball, you won't know what to do with it? 🤷🏽‍♂️. It would just feel like I'm watching the NPFL or street football. Gbas gbos without reasonable end products.

Mbape's end product will never end but what happens in games where there's no space for him to show his end product. I always talk about tiny details in football and that's very key. Tiny details is what you do when your team isn't playing on the front foot, when you can't score or create.

People think it's a coincidence that PSG won their first ever UCL immediately after Mbape left. I said it last season, had Madrid kept the team that won them UCL/league without adding Mabpe, they could've won something last season. His numbers will never reduce but his team will always suffer when they meet a very solid team or teams better than them.

Rashford's numbers(G/A) will continue to grow but he has completely destroyed the pressing game at Barca. Pressing simply means defending especially your flank without the ball. Watch Ralpinhah and Luis Diaz how they support their LBs.

Yh...he was becoming fat and comfortable whilst underperforming,so the Laporta deemed him expendable.

it making u blind
stop it before it gets serious
I've never seen doctors treat eye blindness caused by agenda
