The security agencies should just round those badly trained students up and charge them to court for murder. By the time they spend between 15 to 20 years in jail, they will no longer be useful to themselves and society.

The attention of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ogbomoso Zone, has been drawn to the earlier distressing report concerning the alleged death of our colleague, Mr. Adegoke Fatai, who was reportedly attacked by some students while trying to stop them from gambling during school hours.

Following a thorough investigation and on-the-spot confirmation carried out today, we are relieved to inform all members and the general public that Mr. Adegoke Fatai is alive. However, he remains in critical condition and requires urgent medical attention due to the severe injuries sustained in the unfortunate incident.

We deeply appreciate the concern and empathy shown by our members, the teaching community, and the public. We, however, urge everyone to remain calm as necessary steps are being taken in collaboration with relevant authorities, including TESCOM Ogbomoso Zone and security agencies, to ensure that justice is served and that the culprits are appropriately disciplined.

Let us continue to pray for the quick recovery of our dear colleague. May God grant him healing and strength in this trying moment.

From yours words i feel more encouraged to stop ahswear is just like you have said nothing to add, it feels like you want to gain back your money at the same time losing more.
I accept i have lost serious money i pray i continue to keep myself away from this cause cos IT IS A CAUSE.
I gott an advice from an elderly man back then he even said i chasing women is better than gambling.

The school had already lost the fight of discipline if students could gamble openly during lecture hours in school.

Also South West has the highest rate of baby mama and single mother in Southern Nigeria.

I won't be surprised if majority of that culprits are children of single mothers.

that means you have not been to SS , Akwa Ibom and Cross River
