WriterNig:Meanhwile, Putin is housing Assad, who was a very oppresive ruler, whose rule essentially provoked the crisis in Syria that led to the now US sponsored ALQaeda leader taking over. If Assad had allowed democracy and criticisim, or even done the controlled democracy of Putin where there is some space for dissent at least, by now Syria would still be a stable system USA and RUssia and China are alike.
