The military officer should have respected the representative of government even out the barracks after all government is the employer of the military and is maintained with taxpayer money moreso nobody is above the law.

The circulating video captures Minister Wike verbally dressing down a commissioned Nigerian Army officer even after the officer calmly identified himself.

Wike repeatedly called him a fool, ordered him to get out, snapped shut up your mouth, labeled him a big fool, and even threatened to ensure the officer “leaves there.”

At one point, the officer’s own guard cautioned Wike not to touch him again.

Through it all, the officer maintained remarkable composure, holding his salute to discipline, addressing Wike as Sir, reaffirming that he is a commissioned officer, and stating that he carries integrity by the standards of his training.

There was a tense scuffle between the Officers fully armed men who were pushed and shoved by Wike's MOPOL and fully armed security. This could have degenerated into something bad but the Naval Officer showed restrain and he told his men to back down and not engage.

His outburst didn’t move a single needle. It was theatrics, not leadership. The shouting, chest-thumping, and near-chaos only risked his staff without shifting the chain of command an inch.

A smarter operator would have quietly taken the officer’s name, traced the order, and escalated it through the proper military hierarchy, clean, precise, and effective.

Real power doesn’t scream; it documents, escalates, and gets results.

What were those soldiers doing there? Is getting involved in land dispute between federal government and land grabbers part of their work now while bandit and Boko Haram are running amok in some areas in the North?I think is those soldiers who are supposed to be punished. If we say we want a new Nigeria, we must do away with sentiments and hatred.

Never call a uniformed soldier in uniform a "big fool"

That kind of Language will get you fired in the USA and in the UK within 24 hours.
He is calling Tinubu a big fool, because Tinubu is the Commander in chief of the armed forces.

So all orders come from him directly or indirectly.

You have it all wrong, nobody I mean nobody is above the law if the police men who were there knew their onions they should have rounded up and arrested all those erring officers for obstructing government officials on lawful duty.
Those soldiers have no right to be outside the barracks for any reason with their arms besides addressing threats to national security

ALTERNATEID:
All the soldiers involved in this show of shame shouid be identified and disciplined. Their conduct is a complete embarrassment to the military. Whoever gave them the order to go and be protecting an illegally occupied land shouid also be sanctioned.
