I did condonment of illegitimate admission in July, but I still haven't been able to get my indemnity form, I went to a jamb office yesterday and I was told that they can't find the payment of the condonment of illegitimate admission and I should pay for the process all over again, I don't know what to do, is there a way it can be rectified without me paying again and what's the guarantee that I would be able to get if I redo the process again

On my Jamb I have a different middle name than on my WAEC and when I got admission I wasn't cleared because of it, so I had to go to Jamb office for name correction, I was given and indemnity form which I submitted to my school(Uniben) to be signed and sent.

The issue is my name correction was rejected on the grounds of insufficient evidence provided, even though I provided all that was required, I'm really confused right now, I don't want to lose my admission cause I was given 6 months grace to get this name approval

I've started the process again but I'm still worried, what else can I do?

In 2017, I did change of name via an indemnity form with jamb when I gained admission. It wasn't effected until I was done with my first year clearance and I didn't print any admission letter as of then.
Now, the university have released the graduation list and the name published differs from the name on my jamb profile that has been corrected.
Example
Name on graduation list : Ajayi Jeremiah Lawrence
Name on Jamb: Ajayi Mayowa

In addition, while I tried to check if my name is on the matriculation list via jamb portal, it says its not and I should print out my admission letter. When I tried to do that, the message in the picture attached below is what I get.

Please note that, while I was going through my first year clearance, I was cleared on the basis that I attached an affidavit on confirmation of names that applies on all my documents.

I applied for jamb correction of name last year November so that they'll include my middle name for jamb they printed out a form for me which I filled and summited to my institution, so how will I know if jamb have effected the correction so that I can go ahead with NYSC registration

Hello. Please how do I go about jamb regularization in a case where I got into school without jamb in 2006. I deferred and after a long while I came back and graduated in 2024. Now I don't have any JAMB records.

Please my own issue is concerning change of institution. When I registered for JAMB in 2021 university of Abuja was my first choice but due to some reasons I had completely remove it from my choice of institutions and put another school on the JAMB portal. Some weeks later I checked and I saw that I had been given admission to university of Abuja and I started schooling there despite it no longer being on my jamb caps. The issue here is that for almost three years I have been trying to change my choice of institution back to university of Abuja but I keep on seeing " sorry you can no longer choose this institution". I have gone to the main office to complain about it and I was told to go to the school (uniabuja) and that i cannot do regularisation without changing my choice of institution.I complained to the school and they said the issue is from jamb. Please is there anything I can do about this? Thank you

I just discovered this thread, I did my Jamb Indemnity form after I graduated because I didn't know it was necessary to do it. Well I took it, my previous school signed and my current school signed before sending it off. I've confirmed from my school that it's left them, but it hasn't reflected on my caps. Because of this I've not been able to go to NYSC Batch A&B. What do I do? I think it's two weeks since it was sent. Is it necessary I go to the Jamb in that state since it's been two weeks already that my school sent it ?

if u get another JAMB Reg number before 2nd Sep, 2015. you still have the chance to change it. whoever told u your school has submitted list is lying to u, from my own understanding, no school has submitted anything to NYSC yet, if u doubt it drop ur surname, school and matric number here let me verify.


No they have not sent list to NYSC, any school that claims they have, kindly drop the details i asked for above let me check.

This change of name differs clearly.
There's a link on JAMBs portal to review all payments and usage, check that first. You can also see the status there.
A successful change of name would also involve JAMB notifying your school of your REQUEST, then you perfect it at your school.

If your name has been changed on JAMB, reach out to the admission office at your school. Go with required documents, your school may effect it and resubmit your name for the next NYSC batch.


If JAMB has not effected the right name, start with JAMB.
