Imagine where Nigeria is exporting basics like quality cassava/starch, yams or palm oil to these areas(goods that cant easily be produced in other regions of the world) in huge quantity.
You may not really need to export jets and computers to be rich!

The funny part is that you try so hard to claim that since one country was weaker than another some time ago, it simply means they are stronger now because time passed. You even made an attempt to buttress with a very poor example (Germany and France).


My brother, all countries that were powerful are still as powerful as they were. The only countries that were powerful but can't boast of such power now are those that have gone through two possible processes:

1. Physical (sovereign) disintegration (breakup), e.g., Yugoslavia, Ottoman Empire, Soviet Union
2. Religious (izlamic) transition, e.g., Somalia, Iran, Syria, etc.

Even with tight control and much deterioration, for the example you used, if Germany restarts anything now, they will still conquer the whole of Europe but will have issues with England and Russia (Soviets). I guess you see that the strong boys of old are still the strong boys of now. Germany still controls the strongest economy in Europe and the most advanced one technologically.

Up till today, the only countries with technology that can counter brag with that of Japan are the United States, South Korea, Israel, and Germany. The same pattern—the big names before—appears again.


China, just like present-day Iran, is just a noise maker. It's natural. They have never had an experience of real conflict. Japan is battle-tested and feared.
