Some police officers were caught on camera engaging in a physical altercation with a group of taxi drivers on the streets of Abuja, FCT, earlier today.

It is not immediately clear what led to the fight, but one of the taxi drivers was later seen running away after one of the officers reportedly pulled out a knife. The scene has been described by witnesses as chaotic, with many accusing the officers of behaving like thugs.

This same animals politicians are using to oppress the citizens...Preventing FCT officials from demolishing a property without a valid court order is very correct and a commendable action. It is illegal for an FCT Minister to revoke a land and then reallocate the land to another individual, the law clearly stated that the government can only revoke and reallocate a land when the land is to be used for public interest like building schools, hospitals and others. Do you know two bulldozers were there yesterday ? Do you know that the issue has been lingering for long and the FCT minister has refused to approach the court to get an order to demolish the property ? He prefers to do it the illegal way...We should not allow our political affiliations influence our sense of reasoning.
