My point was Barca would've even sold him for more money if Xavi hadn't misprofiled him. That Nico's ceiling is higher than even I thought because I didn't know he'll pick up quickly. Even Rodri was benched by Pep in 2021 UCL final even though we signed him in 2019.

Did you not see me post Barca B & others refer to NicoG's potential as Rodri-esque & Busquetsque? If you can find any reports on Caicedo with the same level of comparison that would have been an informed person's way of challenging that claim.
